I got accepted to every school I applied to with one exception. I was priority waitlisted at the school in the same city as my husband. The city he is attending medical school at.

I knew this was a possibility going into this cycle, but it always felt possible-not probable. Here I am though. Everything I’ve sacrificed and all my hard work feels like it is slipping away.

But, I’ve already made my choice. It’s an easy decision.

I’ve hit the jackpot. One in a million. I choose him.

Law school comes around every year. A love like this, if you’re lucky, comes around once in a lifetime.

I seriously hope this is a troll/fake post, but since I'm outside the realm of FDS I highly doubt it. Makes my stomach churn.

Why is there no discussion about him MOVING to a city where she was accepted to? "I choose him" (clown face) ... sis, did he choose you? Clearly not. Obviously the undertones of this post are: she got into better schools, but is deciding to gamble on a waitlisted option solely for her husband. Only two people questioned it, everyone else was commenting "wholesome", "I want to be like this", "he's lucky to have you". Excuse me? If she's that scared of losing him by going long distance, then he's probably not as 'in love' as she thinks.

Someone that loves you will want the best for you, not for you to risk a year out of the game with no pertinent work experience. Call me jaded, but by the tone of this post I suspect that their relationship will not end well.

I'm sorry, I can't deal with the level of pickme right now.
