I aged a lot when I was married. I'm older now, but I was ill more then and never had time to work out or otherwise care for myself.

Looking back, after my daughter turned 8 and maybe even earlier, I was mostly looking after him because my daughter was more self-sufficient and reliable. The fact that I planned to have her be my power of attorney and executor when she turned 18 made me realize that I shouldn't be with him.

This is so asinine, I can smell the bullshit from here.

I dated one man a long time ago and 6-7 years later he shows up working in a different department at my work.

We were both the same age, but the only thing that changed about me was my hairstyle.

Meanwhile, he’s all paler and puffy and had grey on the scruff of beard that begun to show. I actually didn’t recognize him at first, only when I saw his name under the employee directory did I remember him.

And I certainly don’t recognize the boys from my high school days. They grew up and there’s nothing on their features that resembled how they looked like back in school. And they don’t look good either. They looked like NPCs in a low graphic video game. Meanwhile, I recognize all the girls from my high school days, because the women they are now still have the same face and at times similar figures.

I’ve rarely seen any male child actors grow up still looking cute or even handsome. These delusion of grandeur scrotes and pickmeishas ... what they smoking.

That being said, every woman I still keep in contact with from high school or college hasn't aged much at all. I cannot say the same for most of the men I knew back then.

Every person, male or female, I have ever met who claims than men "just age better" than women has looked like absolute shit for their age and has refused to take care of their skin. My pick me sister is like it, I have adult acne and as such, take very good care of my skin, and I'm really lucky because the oil in my skin as well as the products has kept fine lines at bay for now.

This woman looks at my skin, sighs, says she wished hers looked like that, and yet when I try to give her a list of products she could use I immediately get laughed at, told it's "expensive and pointless", that women age like shit anyway so there's no point in me trying, and that I need to give her a way to do my entire skin routine in under £5. If I try pointing out to her that her envy of my skin means it clearly isn't pointless, that I'm clearly not "aging like shit" because everyone we meet and who hears about the five year age gap assumes I'm the youngest (something she puts down to me being childfree and therefore "less of an adult woman", she's also told me before my honours degree doesn't matter because she did what was truly important, dropping out of school at fifteen to give birth to five different scotes kids by twenty) and that if I could do my skincare for that cheap I would already be doing it I just get retaliated against in some ridiculously out of context way.
