Game does matter but it’s more on a scale. for the very ugly no amount of game will save you however for Chad it’s extremely difficult to fumble and the women will probably do most of the work for you, but yes there are those who can behave correctly and still fail due to things like scoring to low on the attraction scale, while a better looking guy will be successful while doing the same thing or even while putting in 1/5 of the effort. that’s why I’m posting this meme for the 60th time to emphasize my point.

When a lot of people say "game" they just mean being charismatic and interesting, which obviously helps with dating. If you think it doesn't you are just wrong.

But in the traditional sense "game" is a very specific set of instructions and phrases taught by a PUA. These CAN work too but are extremely situational and only give specific outcomes. They also often require a certain extend of lying/twisting of truth. Here is an example strategy from John Anthony:

Things like game, charisma, personality, humor, intelligence etc. only help you outcompete men of similar attractiveness to you. So yeah assuming an unattractive woman is looking for a relationship and doesn't want to stay single, since of course no attractive guy is going to date her seriously, she'll pick the unattractive guy with those qualities over the unattractive guy with none of those qualities.

But top tier personality, high charisma, masterful game, ultra high IQ, the humor of a comedian etc. won't help the guy pull a considerably hotter woman. If he is in the 30th percentile of male attractiveness, he'll have to go for women around the 30th percentile of female attractiveness if he wants to have at least a chance.

Of course if those traits somehow managed to help him acquire large amounts of wealth and clout, then maybe he'll have a chance with the hotties(though obviously they'll mostly be with him for his money and clout), but a hot gold digger beats any unattractive woman, so she's essentially his best option at that point,

Charisma is arguably the most powerful and influential trait someone can have.

Good looks can get someone to sleep with you.

Charisma can get a whole country to go to war for you.

There is no cheat code that will allow you to get any woman on demand, even being hot. But charisma can absolutely pull partners who are way out of your league. Most guys with a sufficiently large friend group know at least one guy who is able to punch way above his weight class.

Also I cannot possibly imagine being intimidated/impressed/caring by how many followers a woman has, but maybe that's just me.
