Another reason this topic is dumb, no one even knows their numbers for real. Talking real hoes, whether man or woman, people who have had lots of casual sex have lost track. No one's able to remember every single person that they've slept without meticulously keeping track (which I've known some people to do).

I think people with sex history insecurities should have nothing to worry about if their partner is able to quantify it with an actual number. I don't care whether it's 3 or 30, if that person can remember every single person they've fucked, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

If they can't remember, sure, cry away but even still, just go date someone else and let them be.

Hey, just want to drop by and say, yes, your suspicions on the maths were right. Adding more anecdotal evidence.

The top 20% of men do in fact get 80% of the sexual and intimate dating encounters with women, or that is to say, I’m a guy who is lucky to have multiple sexual encounters with women every week and multiple women I’m currently romantically engaged with, at least 3 seriously and another 6-7 casually, depending on frequency, and I know many guys who don’t have a woman in their life romantically.

Additionally yes sadly for better or worse we do laugh about the men not romantically involved and your messages and your behaviour, her and I when we’re together.

I date women on a large spectrum of attractiveness (because I’m attracted to different aspects of them), different types of relationships, different motivations and needs. Always consensual, always enjoying each other’s company.

So yeah. Whenever I’ve been dating this has (kind of) been the story of my life, but way more intense since I turned 30. Like just week after week has been a sexual bonanza

I don’t understand the hyper fixation on N counts when the average person sleeps with 4-5 peoples throughout their life, anyone over 10 is an outlier so the chances of you meeting and vibing with a person who has different values and leads a different lifestyle than you is low irl

I don't entirely disagree with the idea that N-counts matter, as it can be a sign of differing ideologies. I don't like casual sex, so I wouldn't be comfortable dating a man who has an N-count in the double digits or higher. The issue starts when you get dudes who are obsessed with virgins and virginity and can't seem to see women beyond the categories of "virgin" and "slut".

Things I've recently discovered about myself (prepared to get down votes):

I used to think body count for men and women didn't matter. I learnt my lesson, sexual discipline is very much a big deal.

I don't know who once said it but someone here once said that women with high body counts are incapable of experiencing romantic relationships in the same way that women with lower body counts can and the reasoning was somewhere along the lines of not being able to experience as much pleasure after a certain number of partners. I don't know about women but I think it's definitely true for men and a male whore is the worst kind of partner you can have. Lack of sexual discipline and the inability to just be alone are some of the worst qualities a man can have.

Any man with a body count higher than 4 is officially a hoe in my eyes 🙂‍↔️ I'm never dating again but if I were to he shouldn't have a body count higher than 1. A virgin is preferable.

Most men lack sexual discipline and get angry when women lack it. Hypocrites.

I never want to hear a man complain about a women's body count unless his is lower than 2 and he actually had options. I'll no longer take men with no (perceived) options and male whores seriously during body count discussions. They always repeat the same hypocritical foolish points. The only men I can take seriously are those with options and those who have proven to be sexually disciplined.

I believe female sluts have more sexual discipline than male sluts.

Only low value men care about a womens body count. Actual Chads don't give a shit, they'll hock up with, date any slut if they are attractive enough. In fact many Chads will deliberately date sluts for an ego boost because they know that they won't cheat on THEM.

The reason men might resent a "change in treatment" compared to their previous partners isn't some mythical "insecurity."

It's because they don't like information being hidden from them—information that's truly important when choosing a partner and shows whether you're truly loved and whether your partner is willing to give you the same "investments" you give them. And what they did in the past is a good indicator of what they were capable of doing for someone.

And this applies most importantly to the short-term past, because with events that occurred, say, years ago, we can talk about natural changes in a person, and therefore there will be sound reasons why they no longer do what they did in the past.

This is common sense! No one with any self-respect should be with someone who gives them the short end of the stick.

Those who constantly downplay the importance of "n-count"; Sexual compatibility experiences and are offended by what they consider "slut-shaming" and an attempt to portray high-N-count women as terrible and bad; they deny that women are capable of settling for men they are not attracted to; they deny the existence of "pair bonds," "alpha widows and widowers," and so on—they're simply indulging in maximalism.

When someone says that "women and men with a high N-count cheat more often," this doesn't mean the likelihood of cheating is 100%.

When someone says that "women with a high N-count compare their exes with each other and there's no way to create a better sex/relationship for them," this doesn't mean that literally all of them do this.

When someone says that "pair bonds exist and you can be an alpha widow/widower," this doesn't mean that literally everyone in the world forms a very strong bond with their partner and after a breakup can't be with anyone else.

It all just means that these things They undoubtedly exist, and even if they're not active 100% of the time, that doesn't mean they don't exist. Stop indulging in the most extreme scenarios.

I'm absolutely convinced that there are countless promiscuous women who are beautiful, super-faithful, and loving. And not all of them are "alpha widows" or "settle" with their boyfriends and husbands.

Just as I'm convinced that even an average virgin guy who's not very skilled but willing to learn can be the ideal romantic and sexual partner for some formerly promiscuous woman. Simply because they can be very compatible romantically and sexually, be in love with each other (mutually), and even physically compatible (after all, not all women are "size queens," and even a guy of average size can be physically compatible with a ton of women of the same size).

But all this doesn't erase the fact that all of this exists, and there are downsides to dating someone who's "high-count." And so men’s and women’s need to be careful and aware of what they might encounter.

Just because something doesn't happen 100% of the time - doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Thinking otherwise is immature maximalism.
