I don't even understand the premise here. Men decide they can't get laid so they just all turn into starving unemployed homeless people in protest which somehow causes wars that they are willing to fight? Why would men go to war if they're on a no sex strike?

Pay more attention to the societies that have actually collapsed. This fantasy that some have that men would then remake the world into a monogamous utopia with servile women is just that, a fantasy. When societies actually collapse the men go about the wholesale slaughter of one another with abandon. Getting a woman by any means loses it's appeal as your chances of living to enjoy her diminish. The issue with your question is that most people don't believe that society will collapse in 100 years due to social changes considering dating, sex, marriage etc. Society definitely can collapse, but I'd guess most people would name thins like environmental crises, man-made disasters, wars as possible triggers to it. Not casual sex.

Another problem is that "in 100 years" is way too long of a timeframe for people when most don't have any plans even for the next year of their lives. People also are selfish and the idea that next generations will suffer due to their decisions doesn't necessarily make them change their behavior. We can see it with environmental issues right now.

Having said that, eve if I did my best to believe your premise, no, I wouldn't change my views. If men can't thrive with women having their rights and freedoms, well, we should do something about it that doesn't include locking women up again.

I'm not into casual sex myself, but I'm okay with other people engaging into it. I value freedom of the choice. I'm also egalitarian and I wouldn't be able to turn into a "submissive Chris-loving home schooling stay at home mother". Live and let others live.

No. There were wars and partial society collapses prior to the modernization of of gender relations and life was pretty bad for women then. They had ten kids and died in childbirth and got raped by invading armies all the time. They got institutionalized for hysteria, when their men died they were largely destitute, they worked alongside men in factories and died alongside them. When men went off to war they had to fend for themselves anyway.

They could note vote, own property, had no access to BC, they were often illiterate. They could not make decisions for themselves. Rich women maybe had it better. They were openly dismissed and access to education was limited.

So. I guess society collapses in 100 years or we have a return to traditional values so men will be less bitter.

I don't think single men are fully cognizant of the abject misery of an unhappy marriage. Force a woman into marriage and that's what you get. We all have to learn the same dumb lessons over and over again don't we?

There needs to be solutions to the current problems but going backwards isn't it.

That's the real issue. Were still in the infancy of the internet and it has torn though society like wild fire. We as a problem solving species need to find ways to mitigate the damage this has brought. It's not NORMAL to meet partners on OLD. This isn't women's fault. We used to have communal engagement where people would meet each other in natural ways, and assess each other for partnership value without distortion.

This reminds me of my trips through SEA, plastic litter everywhere. They have embraced the convenience of single use plastics but without waste collection and recycling it's a disaster. Yes I know plastic is a global problem, but it's particularly obvious in some places. Literal rivers filled with it to the point you can't see any natural features anymore. Maybe plastic can be banned one day, but the internet definately won't be. We've released the proverbial jeanie and now have to pick up sticks. Think forward not backward.

To answer your question, realistically if anarchy hits, I will stick to my parents and blood relatives. There will be a few close girlfriends I would risk myself for too. If I happen to meet a man worthy of the same level of loyalty he will be a part of my inner circle. And hopefully I don't get raped and murdered I guess.

Sorry, but the “enforced monogamy” of your discussion really boils down to just threatening women with violence and rape (from other men, of course) to manipulate them into marrying and fucking men they already do not want to marry or have sex with.

I really can’t see why you think that kind of terroristic threat would be convincing to women, when the “good” outcome you’re suggesting for women still means they do not have the option to refuse to fuck (and breed with, even!) the men they find undesirable. To exaggerate a bit asking many women to sacrifice their happiness and safety to appease violent men willing to destroy civilization if they don’t get the women they want.

I can see why men like yourself might consider this a vastly different set of choices: one where women sacrifice their own sexuality to serve many men’s sexual pleasure in an even way vs one where other men probably kill a lot of other men… but the options you’re presenting are a lot less obviously good vs bad for women.

I’ll also note that, whenever I see guys online bring up this supposedly inevitable societal collapse that’ll happen if women don’t fuck every men “fairly”, all I can think is that these men are exactly the kind of men I wouldn’t want having or raising children in the first place. If a man’s way of trying to make women want sex with him him is to threaten to destroy civilization, then he’s one of the anti-civilization dangers who shouldn’t be allowed to breed or raise children, and women are right to avoid having children with these antisocial, anti-civilization men.
