So one of my friends just made this long post on Facebook about how his dad started dating the nurse who was looking after his mother who died of cancer only a week after his mother died. They are now engaged only six months after the death of his mother. The post was mainly about how hurt and betrayed he felt that his dad did this and that he begged his father to just give him more time before moving on to a new woman, but his father flat out refused. Then some scrote in the comments said "Most men in happy marriages move on really quickly after the death of their wife. This shows your father really loved your mother!"

Um what? No, he clearly didn't love her if he didn't need ANY time to process his grief. Also, he was probably flirting with this nurse WHILE his wife was dying. Men move on really quickly after the death of their wives because all their wife was to them was a trophy/bangmaid that made their life easier and made them look good to other men. They do not see their wives as human and now that their wife is dead they are in desperate need of another "wife" place holder. Unfortunately for my friend, his father has just revealed himself to be a scrote who cares more about his access to pussy than the desperate grief of his children and the memory and honor of his wife.

In contrast with this, my great aunt's fiance was killed in WWII. She was in her 20s when this happened and she NEVER had another romantic relationship the rest of her life. She slept with a picture of him on her bedside table until she was 80. She just wasn't interested in any other man, she loved him that much. My mother's friend also has never even wanted to date after the death of her husband. She just simply has no desire for other men.
