Notice the usage of the passive tense. The man receives, then the children receive. But who is doing the work/action? She doesn’t even get a mention in the sentence about HER labor. And she cooked the meal too. But no mention. Hope she gets a few bites of her work product in between cooking, serving, and cleaning up.
