Every time I see a story on Facebook about a man or boy experiencing rape at the hands of a woman, there's usually a sea of men in the comments downplaying it. I've noticed that it's even more extreme when it's a case of a woman assaulting a young boy. There's comments along the lines of "he's so lucky" or "I wished that happened to me when I was young." I rarely see those kinds of comments coming from women.

I think most women already do. When men get raped, especially if it’s a young boy being assaulted by an older woman, it’s usually men in the comments making jokes or light of the circumstances. They even actively argue with women/people who are trying to express their horror at the situation. The biggest reason why male rape is treated with such disregard is because men for the most part don’t care and treat it like a sexual fantasy.

The 'men are stronger' has been a redundant answer to a lot of things for a very long time right now. I'm starting to think it's more wish fulfilment for both genders rather than reality (and the insanity of gym culture definitely bears this out) but it's just such a weak stop sign for context when things like drugs, weapons and - well - straight up circumstances can render a man's super manly, oh-so-sexy muscles just straight up fucking useless.

I agree that the contradictions in a lot of feminist ideology are bad things. But this gotcha approach is ultimately counterproductive. Instead, I think we need to make peace with biological differences, and understand that sometimes this might even mean laws that do discriminate by gender in different ways. But we will also have to aim at overall gender fairness despite not all treatment being identical.

Illegal, is a good point for establishing a moral code. In the military, they have something called restricted reporting where you reported that it happened, but you’re not pressing any charges just documenting that you felt. There was a possibility of the situation being unethical then the accused doesn’t face a trial and the mission is not interrupted. I think that’s because for the victim the situation can make them feel that much worse ruining life for their peers, so basically, they have to endure the brunt of the crime, but they also end up with support from their peers. It also ensures free medical care for life for any mental or physical effects that come from the attack.

I think people will say: "Oh no women really do believe that raping men is bad!" but only a few countries have laws concerning rape really being about consent. For the most part, it's either only rape when perpetrated towards women, doesn't include being made to penetrate, and sometimes is only counted if it's "sexual violence against women and girls".

It's not that women don't think raping men is bad, they just don't think it's happening or that it's even possible.

Then they will say: "Oh, but look how people are indignant when a teenage boy gets raped!" Amazing, the lowest bar possible, children getting raped, how virtuous of you tonrecognize it's bad. Then they will remark: "Well, there's always men and boys in the comments of these comments praising these rape victims!"

Well yes, the culture is so fucked up that men literally think it's better to be a raped man/boy than to be a virgin. And everybody who ever used "incel" or "virgin" in a derogatory manner is partly at fault for that culture.
