This is disingenuous. Not only are there numerous programs, movements, and campaigns created by men for the sake of other men, but they often face pushback if they're framed as seeking to help men for men's sake.

That’s why you see “what about men?” in those moments,

And we see the exact same thing when we bring up men's issues. Bring up male suicide, "women attempt more". Male loneliness, "I know we flexed how we have better support and deeper friendships, but now we'll say we're just as lonely."

When the mainstream attitude is that helping men is either unnecessary or inherently toxic, a lot of men won't discuss the issues outside of spaces that actually do think women don't deserve rights.

how about you give some examples or credible evidence how the majority of men and not individual mras or liberals "not talking about conservative or redpill men" argue against womens rights instead of supporting them?

the entire topic is basically about conservative values vs liberal values and cherry picking bad actors + distorting/diluting how men already tackle men's issues just because you do not like how they do it... while ignoring that women do the exact same thing you are complaining about but more on that later...

mras are pro choice, pro parental leave, pro equality, pro fair gender neutral society... the main issue that comes up is about statistical parity...

Caring about men’s issues sometimes does mean pushing back against feminists, because a lot of gender talk is built around centering women while downplaying men’s problems or twisting them into women’s issues too. So no, it is not always just deflection. Sometimes men bring it up there because that is exactly where the imbalance in attention and sympathy is coming from.

This post is the perfect opportunity for you to clash with those who insist that men were hoarding all the rights for themselves for the last 6,000 years.

Of course, the reality is that men invented civil rights and then human rights as a solid, humane, and god-fearing (let's be honest, religion played a huge part in this) argument why there should be no special interest groups (in historical context, no aristocracy). Since feminists want women to be the new aristocracy, opposing them aligns perfectly with the original idea.

I would argue that rather than that being the only time men talk about it instead that’s the only time you notice and or are present for men talking about these issues. Unlike women’s issues men’s issues rarely get discussed in the public zeitgeist outside of the internet where everyone is essentially cordoned off from each other and when one bubble bumps into the other is when you take notice of what that bubble is actually saying.

Most of men’s problems are actually caused by other men, which none of them will ever admit so they spend their time trying to discuss things, gain sympathy, attention or labour/support from women.

Male programs face pushback? So what every major program faces pushback but people unite and stay COMMITTED to their causes whether it’s women, POCs, LGBTQ+ etc. One of the reasons that women, POC etc programs succeed is because charitable engagement (FREE LABOUR) is done by these groups OVERWHELMINGLY. Men do not show up for anything, especially other men.

Also i literally CANNOT understand why men complain about male loneliness to women? Should’nt guys just be working on expanding networks of bros and including isolated men?

Alot of men don’t believe men and women can be friends (or atleast that is an opinion that is overwhelmingly held by men) so it begs the question what do they want from us?

The only issues that men collectively seem committed to is shaming or gaslighting women to lower their standards.

That's not true because I am involved in men's rights groups myself and they're pretty active.

There's also the fact that men's rights groups have been routinely labeled as toxic, hateful and all manner of buzzwords before being silenced by opposing ideologies, even if the group itself is harmless.

I think the bigger issue is that we disagree on what rights we need and what rights we don't have? Historically and recently, women have had to fight for rights that us men were just given. Im open to being proven wrong, but I personally can't think of a single moral right that us men dont have. Im all for empowering my fellow man and being there when Im needed, but Im not going to have another mans back if hes behaving in a manner that doesn't align with my values.

In the eyes of most men, other men are one thing above all else: competition. This is something imbued biologically, but only gets reinforced because it serves the capitalist class extremely well. Any hope we have of changing it would hinge on total reform, and the conscious direction of our evolution. I'm not counting on that because we seem to be going backwards.

I don't think you actually want men looking after 'men' as a class. Men ultimately have all the power, and if you divide the society that way, women tend to fair poorly. There are other ways to handle men's issues than have men just take care of other men.

It's not that men don't really care about men, it's just that at the end of the day we know things such as rights and societal norms are bullshit and working on ourselves has a much higher ROI for solving anything we care about, so the efforts of men actually capable of helping others are usually reserved for friends and family by building them up, or at most serving as a good example for their audience in case they have one and aren't grifters

As for those which aren't capable of even helping themselves they'll do as you said, bitch about it on women's spaces because they don't really want change

That's because we are not women, we do not ask for our rights, we do not need advocates. Men take their right through the use of force and violence. We are the ones that decide what rights we have and who has them.
