Among bluepilled normie circles, the most common relationship advice is to communicate, communicate, communicate. This is the magic bullet that will solve all your relationship issues. The problem with this is that:

  1. Most people are terrible debaters and resort to all kinds of logical fallacies when arguing
  2. Most people don't take rejection of them or their ideas lightly and are more likely to hardline than concede points
  3. A lot of the time, the core issue in a relationship is a power imbalance of beauty, money or status, which is extremely rude to communicate overtly

But it just sounds so right to tell people to "communicate" and posture as if you and your partner have the poise of Vulcans when arguing things out, but this doesn't bear out in reality. In reality, what I've seen is that when most couples speak up, they fall into one or more of the three communication issues I've outlines, rendering said communication effectively useless. Thus, advice to "communicate" can be considered a lazy catch-all at best, and a polite dismissal at worst.
