The push for a 50/50 dynamic, where both partners contribute equally to finances, household chores, and emotional labor. While this seems fair and equitable on the surface, I'm curious about why many men advocate for this model when it's well-documented that a significant number of women find most men unattractive.

Historically, women tolerated male sexuality in exchange for financial support and protection. however, with more women becoming financially independent and self-sufficient, the average man is no longer fulfilling these traditional roles. So how would a 50/50 relationship benefit anyone but the man in the relationship?
