First what you say isn’t as crucial as how you say it. If you say it from desperate/needy point you won’t get much no matter what you say. So try to have some fun as well while doing it, like don’t give a fuck about the outcome of the interaction and whether she’ll like you or not. I've had really good luck when I really try to be clever and witty. Make a girl need to think then laugh after thinking and you'll be getting dates no problem. For example, I was in a restaurant and a girl was wearing an all blue outfit, including shoes, and had blue streaks in her hair. I approached her and opened with 'hey! I bet I know what your favorite color is!' You could see her thinking, trying to figure out what I meant, then she realized her outfit, but before she could finish her thought and respond, I blurted out 'green!' and it took her by major surprise. She had to think again, and then she laughed and smiled. It worked like magic and she would normally be out of my league based on appearances.

OK so here is the issue.... Cold approach with a woman you will probably never see again is like hitting the lottery.... Unless she is in the same exact mindset you are at that time and finds you attractive and worth pursuing... You would find better success establishing a routine where you may start to run into the same women on a consistent basis. This will give them some comfort and feel like they are starting to know you just by seeing you around. You can say hello you can ask for advice in a store, you can comment on something that is not related to how they look or what they are wearing (could come off creepy). If you catch a woman smirking or smiling at you go for it she is very open to a conversation. If you catch eyes with a woman that looks away completely disinterested then you will most likely get the cold shoulder. It's about reading people. Yes you can have a casual conversation with ANYONE but when you open with YOU LOOK CUTE you are basically telling them you want to be more than just a casual conversation. I always found joking around with people tastefully is an easy way into more conversing.... In the past I would be very friendly with women I am in contact with. I would never tell them they are pretty or comment on clothing etc. We would chat, laugh etc then I would walk away saying TTYL.... I never ever asked anyone out in my life they have always asked me because my approach was just hanging around them getting to know them a little at a time. I landed some pretty hot women this way but it wasn't a pickup line either it was just how I was with them.

I personally think there is a huge problem with how much this sub focuses on numbers. It’s completely unnatural and surely comes across to these women you are trying to talk to. You’re treating them like a number and not customizing the conversation for the individual. Instead you are basically interrupting their day and asking them interview style questions. Who the fuck would want to engage with that type of conversation out of the blue? Male or female? I think you should focus on approaching with some more contextual conversation and learn to be engaged with the person who is in front of you. This might mean you need to talk to more strangers overall and not just ones you want to fuck.

I’d get a girl friend or someone to watch you and very critically analyze your behavior. As women we assess for safety first and there could be something you do subconsciously you don’t mean to that comes across as threatening. Cold be environment, tone of voice, body language, etc. Keep going! I appreciate a good cold approach. Could also just be the people you approached.

Look for girls who are already staring at you, nervously walking away. Shaking, or tripping over their own feet. Those are the ones you should approach, you’re already in.

My cousin is a player and not much of a looker. He approaches, compliments the girl, leaves, and finishes the interaction later. Cold approaching someone you will organically see again is the only way it works.

Say he’s on the beach.

He’ll say “look at you out here just feeling yourself” make her smile and walk away.

He’ll see her a bit later at the ice cream booth “that looks so good.” He’ll pay for hers and order one of his own. She’ll be like “thank you” he’ll be like “thank YOU for being so beautiful…and for the ice cream recommendation”

It literally goes on all day. If he doesn’t get her number he just waits to see her again and acts all surprised. If she’s super not interested he just finds someone else or hits on her friend.

I don’t like the girls he dates. I find them kinda dumb and annoying. But they’re really pretty so…his method works I guess.

Are the girls all 10s and your a 5, are you dressed right, proper chemistry before asking for the number, even the opener can be bad. Really like the stat approach. Mine are ~45 actual approaches with stating intent (mostly nightgame), 6 instagrams, 8 numbers, 2 same-night kisses (more social circle and being at the right place at right time than actual cold approach skill imo), 0 dates, 0 lays.

6'3, 5-6/10 face, style and fitness. Also I would self assess my Game as beginner level.

Stats look somewhat demoralizing but as I said, Game practiced in these sets was beginner level. Alot of nervousness, shitting bricks before an approach, sometimes acting in wierd/awkward ways, being tired, not being as verbally fluent/running out of things to say, sometimes didn't push for a number (either I didn't like the girl enough or just wussed out), basically didn't try to isolate and makeout, didn't frame the date etc.

Best PUAs have ~50% number close rate and ~10% number to sex rate, so try to not get deflated, keep going, keep improving and results will come. It's hardest to get results in the beginning.

Don't let the first thing you say be about her appearance, unless you are way hotter than her. (Cute girls know they're cute and get tired of strangers telling them so. They get tired of having to fend off creeps.)
Cold approaches already have the odds against them, so pick someone who is not as attractive or not very confident.
Don't foam at the mouth. Overly eager is a turn-off most of the time. (It's also a red flag. Who is this guy? Why is he fixated on me? Am I going to being able to get rid of him easily or do I need to run away?)
Aim for a friendly interaction. (Getting her number is a rare accomplishment and usually requires a full conversation. If she doesn't want to talk with you, she's not interested.)
Your approach really, really depends on the location. If you're in a grocery store, ask a girl how to cook whatever item is in your hand. (Like, hey...how do you make this taste good?) If you're in a clothing store, ask her if this item is a good color for you. Gas station? Look at her, wink, and say, "My credit card hates me." If you're at a bar, look her in the eyes, smile, and say, "I'll buy you a drink if you tell me your darkest secret."
See? You're using the environment to help you engage.
Good eye contact, good smile, and no looking at her boobs.

Cold approaching is the least working method. The best methods are to be introduced by your friends to their friends or to be attractive and going to a club or bar where people are a bit more receptive and drunk.

Cold approaching is ass, the odds are low but man 5 numbers from 40 is pretty good. I never recommend cold approaches their borderline creepy but for some dudes here they have no friends so it’s their “only” option lol

Day game. You need to be far more slow. Don’t call a girl cute right away. Be very indirect. For example, you’re at the grocery store. Grab a product near her and ask her opinion about it. Let’s say you’re in the potato chip aisle. “Hey, have you tried these chips? I’m in the mood for something different.” She says whatever she says. “What is your favorite flavor/brand, etc? I’m having a few friends over, what other snacks would you suggest?” Use her answers to direct the conversation further. Don’t be so direct during the day. For me, I just be honest. I'll say what I think but I don't day approach mainly because during the week I'm working and after work I'm working on other things like gym finances or whatever hobbies. This is strickly on going out on the weekends at night or early evening. That's when you build connection. If you guys build a good connection, go on a date. 2. I get a thank you and that's it. No interest. That's fine with me, not going to ruin my night or what my plan was. And here's the key, go out and have fun should be the main goal. I mean your already doing good as in your approaching people, but try not to be so into numbers and other things. Just be honest. If you give off a good positive vibe, I notice you get better reactions. I usually am with friends and having a good time, saying hello and introducing yourself is harmless and if they like you, build connection. Let your personality loose. If she isn't interested, that's cool just have fun. Stay encouraged. It's a numbers game but the number is one. Only takes one time for it to work out.

40 approaches is nothing I've been getting good success from OLD recently but quality of girls on OLD is mediocre and I'm not talking about looks so I'm doing some day game too.

I've done some approaches last few days talked to 15-20 women and only even tried to close like 2. Day game isn't hard or harder than other types of game. It's just that when you approach on the street/mall you're approaching married/committed girls, girls in a hurry, girls not in the mood, girls who don't find you as their type etc. Probably 90% of approaches there's nothing you can do. You have to be willing to do large volume. If you did 4000 approaches and no dates I'd be worried but 40... that's a tiny sample.

The master has failed more than the beginner has even tried. If you want to get good at this, it's part of the process.

Hey man I was in your situation 10 years ago when I first started cold approaching in 2012. I didn't just do 40 cold approaches but did over a thousand easily. I did 10 approaches a day for a year. I lost count of the numbers I got but out of some 1000-3000 approaches, I only got 4 or 5 dates. Yes, you read that right. Although my "cold approach mechanics" became really good - infact after building rapid momentum it became an instinct, there was something about my inner game that needed work. As time went on I became super frustrated with the lack of ROI. I was spam approaching like crazy. Though I don't know your life story, I'm thinking you might be going through the same thing.

Anyways, long story short I had a melt down (broke my phone after the 20th girl of the day rejected me) and quit cold approach to do online game for a few years. Over the time I slept with about 80-90 girls off it while also working on my passion and hobbies.

Recently I went out YEARS after doing a proper cold approach. I only talked to 3 girls that night, I got all 3 numbers, two flaked and 1 met up with me two days later on a date and I banged her. Thought it was a fluke so I went out again to do cold approach the following weekend. This time I approached 5 girls, got 2 numbers, and one met up with me on a date the next day. The weekend after, I approached 6 girls and only got 1 number which led no where but got a make-out in 5 mins.

Cold approach is unpredictable for sure and has a lower ROI compared to other forms of game. However, you can stack your ODDS to your favor. The process does become easier.

Real question is , do you LIKE cold approach? Some guys are natural "hunters" and love the chase and challenging themselves. I have a lot of buddies still going hard at cold approach. If you prefer less stimulation and a more chilled approach like a "farmer" you may like other avenues like social circle, or online dating. Game is a long term thing so pace yourself.

Cold approaches suck monkey balls. You literally have no information other than what you see of a woman. You have no way of knowing what witty one liners to work off of, her interests or what would even tip the scales in her favor.

In my honest Opinion cold approaching is too lucked based. Too many varying factors to be successful.

I would say the best thing to do is stick to places where you KNOW people are gonna be looking for that kind of interaction.

Woman here.

I always had guys approaching me, trying to chat me up in clubs or at the beach…

One thing that made me want to pursue a further friendship was a touch of humility. This may be the opposite of what men are told, but if I am approached with a conversation that is more ‘him looking up to me’ instead of an arrogant approach, I would be much more likely to be interested in this person.

Example: (this is an exact quote)

’I’m not coming over here to bother you, but I had to tell you…there are a lot of pretty girls in here, but I think you are the prettiest by far. I’ll go back to my mates now, I just wanted to tell you…’

Maybe I’m different, but this very sweet approach was non-intimidating and not pushy. ( women get too much of that) I think it works. He left the club with my number.

I myself am trying to draw female attention. I'm 46 and decided to never let an opportunity to tell what your thinking. I had an interesting camping trip for 3 days... This woman blew my mind. We did stuff. Ride bikes, canoeing, campfire and laugh. She is 45 single and does all the stuff I want to do but no one will do with me.

I said, "You are everything I'd ever want in a girlfriend. I really like you and want to make you my Girl!.",

Half way back to Vegas we pulled off for gas. Had the final hug and gave her a kiss on the cheek...

I did not get her number. I'm an idiot. Was nervous...

Point is don't wait for her to respond. Get out and introduce yourself. Within a month you will get some who will text back. There are 2 million people in vegas.
