We need a pill or something like that which makes the male sex drive like that of women and chained on conditions. This would be fair for most.

Or we tackle the cultural influenced part of women attraction namely the relative attraction between women's available options and the attractions in relation of how highly she thinks of herself. This means we need to indoctrinate young toddlers with different messages.

Instead of saying women are wonderful and can do everything they want which leads to a pandemic of narcisstic women, lacking human decency and having this hedonistic mindset because most important things are handed to them. We should drive down the encouragement and teach them that they are good people but with flaws like everybody and that it's ok to not be some 6 figures lawer and be content with your own little miracles.

Instead of saying that men are all potential rapists and basically getting soft forced to do what feminists deems is ok for them to do which leads to missguided men either being to pussyfied for being a good lover or overcompensating with to much masculinity which leads to actual toxic masculinity. Both usually lacking confidence for to long in their lives. We should tell them the same i advocate the we should tell women. Basically being content with what you have.

Another approach would be a distribution of salary from the higher white collar positions to the lower blue collar positions like brick layers, nurses etc. to make the climb in pay not that ridiculous like it's now. Furthermore these blue collar jobs which are basically the most essential in society are in dire need of some appreciation and prestige.

This both are possible ways to tackle the influencable part of women's attraction. We can also do other stuff like advocating other more realistic beauty standards etc. too.

The genie is our of the bottle and there's no putting it back without removing a whole lot of female rights and privileges, which isn't going to happen. Nor should it.

Women are currently in a cacophony echo chamber of "do what's best for you, fuck society", and that's exactly what they're doing.

Men are surrounded by messages that they need to be sacrificing their own desires for the good of women and society. Eg, stop approaching women anywhere and making them uncomfortable.

I suppose if any large movement were to happen to tell women to cool their jets on the hedonism, we might be able to curve this a bit. But I don't foresee that happening as long as feminists have sold most of the population their lies that women are oppressed.

The equilibrium is being set in this moment. This is btw not universal but in western developed countries. We're heading for a polygamous society where the Beta males either shape-up (become financially succesfull, achieve social status, become attractive mates to women) or wont form relationships to women and will use surrogates such as porn and sex workers/robots.

Wealth will become even more concentrated and those men as those with high social status and physical attraction will have multiple partners simultaneously.

Overall optimal productivity will not be achieved as the Omega males will have less incentive at compete and achieve status and wealth. This however becomes less important with progressing automatisation and less need for male human work force. This will create (or rather expand the current) underclass to exploit. Sex workers/VR Sex/Porn/Substance abuse will be booming. Social society will be more matriachal and female dominated. Families will be large households with many women in a social hierachy with Giga Chad at the top.

The cat is out of the bag so to say. The only way its going back to the way it used to be would be for a massive regression of society. For there to be some sort of war or natural disaster that yanked away all the luxuries and privileges the west has now which caused it to become this way. A society where social media no longer exists, where high quality internet porn no longer exists, where simping no longer exists. A society where young men are forced into war or servitude and a large portion of them die, meaning those left have far better prospects with women based on sheer math.

Better mechanisms to meet people (to increase chances of meeting organically instead of online)

If there's a draft, expand it to everyone. Not all women may be eligible for front of line roles but with enough training above average (physically) they can. Those that don't pass (less than average men, average women) can contribute in other ways such as factories, communications, intelligence, programming etc.

Mentoring programmes and scholarships to reach out to those who face barriers to employment (women in IT, men in teaching). Get rid of affirmative action.

Better childcare subsidies. yes yes I can hear the screaming of taxation is theft already. But hey you want kids to grow up into a workforce that pays for your pension? Create incentives for having children that isn't just cash in hand. Cash in hand encourages welfare. Programmes that allow subsidised childcare, children and parent support groups, subsidised and cheap kids activities such as sports, music classes etc. These help kids and families without giving away money.

Also it will have knock on effects. Kids who are in activities they enjoy (esp if they start out coed) are likely to be better socialised than those who aren't, so if we expand those programmes it might help those who are socially awkward etc. In the long run. Therefore it might help them talk to the opposite gender better.

Define fair. I'd assume we are close to "equality", as in both genders get equal opportunity. I doubt that most men will go along with equity.

What women don't seem to understand, or be able to cope with after understanding, is that they are limited by their physiology. I expected this to be a bit of a light, shit-posty thread. All good. Sometimes we need that.

What was a bit surprising, but ultimately revealing, is how almost everyone focused on the ADULTS. It was a typical gender war about how to maximize each gender's happiness, or in some more enlightened cases, find a balance.

But past moral norms about marriage began with the CHILDREN. How do me make sure we have them? How do we make sure they are well cared for? How do we make sure they are turned into productive and healthy adults.

It was a given that ADULTS would sacrifice for the children, because when you examine the entire life cycle of a human, the stuff that happens to them as early children seems to have the most profound impact on overall life happiness. So a system that focuses on doing it right for kids gets the biggest bang for its buck in terms of overall human happiness.

In this vein, we should ease up a bit on the male sexual entitlement narrative. Yes, many men have veered into entitlement territory. But the fundamental narrative that still drives Western society is that a man is EXPECTED to marry and raise a family; and in that process, he should expect an intimate emotional and sexual relationship with a woman at some point in his life.

The above was based on a stable social paradigm that put children and family first. However, the problem seems to be that while adults of both genders sacrificed, women clearly sacrificed more sexually. And we now value sexual fulfillment more than we did before. This, whatever fairness the old bargain had, it is gone now. That's fine. But we need to be thinking about all the pieces, including social stability and children, when we imagine a new paradigm.

Finally, the idea that we should just let everything work out in a kind of free market of choices fundamentally misunderstands how cultures have always worked. There have always been to-down, holistic philosophies with respect to mating that have strongly informed the process. It has never been entirely one way. So no one is suggesting that elites come up with a new system and enforce it at gunpoint. But figuring out the best theories and spreading them has always been part of the process.

The near future I see is haptic feedback suits/AI girlfriends/AR/VR environments for the unattractive and unwanted males (and maybe even some females), and designer babies for the rich. Those in the middle probably lead similar lives except with robots having taken most jobs subsist on universal basic income as more and more people fall into the lower class and humanity stagnates. So basically a cyberpunk dystopia but boring.

And then somewhere down the line reliable interplanetary travel develops and we need people to work on the lunar base, populate the Martian colonies, and mine the asteroid belt. The poor sign up en masse for a chance at a fresh start. Eventually humanity speciates.

This is all assuming we make it past any sort of destructive technological singularity or global war.

In my opinion we are heading to a darwinian society with a very edonistic cultural background.

Highly disfunctional mysoginistic vain entitled borderline homosexual men with a nihilistic and individualistic view of society and human interactions, pretty much like the kind of cultural system we can learn about in the last period of pretty much every past empire and progressive society.

This is not only men's fault though, edonistic female behaviour encourages edonistic male behaviour and viceversa. It's a vicious cyrcle.

I agree with the other redditors that say there is no going back though. I think there are some external unpredictable forces than can force a society to change, but people doesn't change willingly, not in large numbers at least.

You can't "enforce monogamy", you can't force women to like ALL men, you can't keep men from hooking up around, you can't ban prostitution, and neither you can ban divorce laws or prevent women from getting knocked up by irresponsible men, or take welfare from women...

It's just not possible.

Feminists complain about 2 things (mainly) - safety and reproductive rights. Better protocol and clear, consistent consequences for sexual assault/rape/made to penetration REGARDLESS of gender; make abortion legal with adequate access to safe procedures with clear guidelines and restrictions (for example, late term abortions where the fetus can survive outside the womb can only be performed when birth would result in fatal harm to either/both mother and baby) and make paper abortions legal too (no this isn’t just for “sleazy men” as u/Diamond-Breath said). Access to free birth control as a preventative measure for women who wish to be sexually active but don’t want to become pregnant.

Men’s complaints are largely due to a lack of sex or sexual attention, which could be largely alleviated through safe, legalized prostitution. In several countries, a psychiatrist can literally prescribe a recommendation that you visit a sex worker for your own mental health.

Finally, scientific, evidence based sex education programs, rather than abstinence only programs, coupled with education on consent early and often.

A change in these dynamics on both sides would likely lead to a much larger cultural shift which would be reflected on a social level.
