So odds are that any divorced woman you meet will put her immediate desire to be “happy”, which will change as necessary, over everything else in her life including her children having a stable home or keeping any promises. You can assume they are narcissistic borderline sociopaths. We were fooled by our own delusion that the woman we married wasn’t any of those things but because our ex wives knew we wouldn’t break our vows they took advantage of our commitment to her and our family. They(probably) let themselves go physically and intellectually. Expecting us to remain attracted to them. While denying us affection but expecting to be constantly showered with compliments. Honestly. When was the last time your ex complimented you for anything.

I will never ever date young women again, or single moms. I don't care how pretty they are, I am sick of being taken... Never marry a single mom, they will take from you, once the relationship expires. I learned this lesson the hard way. I am only dating women with grown children who don't live at home.

What hit me the hardest about this post was the part about seeing your ex wife in every one of them. I'll add to that listening to them all talk trash about their ex husband. They do it so much you expect him to be worse than Hitler. And then by chance, you happen to meet the guy and come away with the impression that he not only seems like a decent, likable guy, but that he kind of reminds you of yourself. I remember when I caught my wife cheating, and I read her texts to the other guy. Her constant complaints to him about me were 15% gross exaggerations and 75% outright lies.

There's legitimately no reason to get married after your done having kids for guys. Maybe healthcare? event then most likely not worth it. They don't seem to grasp that if the guy has nothing worth investing in besides sex that they are not going to stay.

My ex just got remarried in November and the whole "yours mine and ours" thing is already destroying their relationship. She's also a probably a Borderline and is slowly trying to isolate the new guy from his own kids and family. It's weird to watch it happen step by step to someone else when you've been through it.

Agree. Men want youth, beauty, loyalty, low body count, and not flashing ass every day on IG. etc. But when we say this, it's misogyny. When 'older' women want a 6' tall man making 6 figures, it's okay. Women can't accept they are in their prime in early / mid twenties. Men are in their prime, starting around 35 on up. Why? Because men value beauty and women value success/provisioning. It's in our biology. Yet, women in 30's / 40's with several kids think their 'value is the same as a 25 year old. It's not. Just part of the reason marriage no longer works on the Western world. We don't care about a womans success for the most part. They are not spending that money on us. Say any of this publicly and get 'canceled' for stating facts.

It's been over 5 years, and I have no interest in dating. I've tried, and I even have a FWB thing going, but dating just feels like too much effort. It almost feels like narcissism is a feminine trait at this point. Every woman covered with tattoos or has more than one color of hair is immediately deemed mentally ill in my mind.

The funny thing is I've never been happier. I can play video games when I want and have been able to catch up on a lot I missed. I can watch what I want without trying to watch it with someone else who is never "in the mood" for whatever it is. Honestly, even my FWB feels like a hassle lately, and I might cut her loose soon.

tl;dr Women aren't worth the effort, so refocus and prioritize yourself over pussy. Be a man with a penis, not a penis with a man.

I met and dated a lot of single moms (I was a single dad) that had been cheated on. That were married to alcoholics or drug addicts. That were married to gambling addicts and blew the house payment on online sports betting. That were married to guys that couldn't hold down a job, because they played video games all day long.

But there is So Much Disfunction out there. I dated a woman for 3 months. She was a raging alcoholic, but she knew how to hide it. One day, I put 2 and 2 together and dumped her.

Along with all the book recommendations listed here all the time... newcomers should venture into the BpdLovedOnes, NarcissisticAbuse & WhereAreAllTheGoodMen subreddits.

They don't hold all the answers but my guess is about 80% of cases we see here in this sub directly relate to these. I wish I knew about all that earlier in life, it would have saved a lot of time & heartache. Most women today, & some men (mostly because of social media) are a complete lost cause for long time faithful relationships. They are legit brain damaged. You can't fix it or change it so don't even try Like I said those subs don't hold all the answers but it will make a lightbulb go off for the uninitiated, like it did me.

Exactly one of the reasons why I don't really date anymore and I'm in my early 30s. I've noticed that women are in their prime from 18-25 because they're not usually jaded at that age, they're optimistic about life and the future. They don't have much baggage. As they age, they seem to get exponentially more jaded based on their past experiences.

The way I look at it, I would only want to date 18-25 year old women. If I can't have that, I would rather be single and alone honestly.

I'm at the top of my game in terms of investments and career. So why would I want to risk that for anything? I've already learned how to cook, clean and do my own laundry. It really isn't that hard at all.

Seems like some of them at least have standards, however unrealistic. My STBXW blew up her family to run to some ugly short loser living with his mom at 41. No love for the guy who worshipped her for 20 years and worked his ass off to give her the world because she was his world. Nope. Straight to loserville.
