Analogy: Male attention is like air for women, Female attention is like food for men

It is not a perfect analogy, but hear me out.

Male attention for women is vital, even those who don't receive male attention directly or claim they don't need it, still benefit indirectly by men being horny enough to do the worst jobs that keep their bubble in infrastructure and civilization. However, male attention is so abundant that it is not valuable, even being vital for women. Women also get more depressed when older as they lose this narcissistic supply.

Female attention for men is not vital, it is not guaranteed, and it is relatively rare. It is like food, you need it but you can be days without it or even just eating trash (porn, for example). Still, female attention is so rare that it is very valuable for men. Men also care more about the status they get by getting women, among other things. Women are closer to an attribute of the real love men have, which is status and respect from peers.

TLDR: Male attention for women and civilization is more important, but it is so common that they don't value it. Female attention and care for men is not as important to live for men, but it is so rare that men value it a lot.
