Recently I’ve been witnessing men complain about how women are “too bitchy”, “not worth it”, and “expect to be treated like Stacy”. Men today believe that they are disadvantaged. They believe women are “oppressing” them. When they cannot find a partner, they blame feminism.

This is a symptom of male entitlement.

Simply put, for the majority of human history men have been able to put in minimum effort for maximum reward - because women had no choice. Women were forced to marry and serve men because legal, religious, cultural and financial institutions put them in a position of subservience. When women fought against this system of oppression to obtain the status of “person” and not property”, men were hit with a cold hard truth - being a man does not make them special.

Today we see that throughout the developed world, men and women and slowly coming to a level playing field. Men are no longer entitled to a wife/maid/nurse/servant/mother simply by the virtue of being a man. The notion that they can no longer leverage power against another human being through societal institutions has resulted in a generation of young men collectively losing their minds. They are playing victim. Crying about how “all women are entitled bitches”, an interesting projection.

All women have done is enter the playing field. There are still social/economic/cultural barriers of varying degrees in place that economically disadvantage women, but these are slowly crumbling. Women have the right to choose and they are not choosing subpar, bare minimum, and low effort. Instead of resigning to play the side character in a man’s life, women are self-actualizing through education, hobbies, and careers. Women are brought up to expect hardship and are expected to persevere through it, and they’ve been doing just that. Women do not want, nor have to settle for a man that brings them down and thus many have been choosing to remain single.

On the other hand, men are starting to lose their “special” status. Instead of putting in the work (like women have been), to form an identity - many have resigned to complaining. They are angry, not at themselves, but at women for not “giving them” what they feel they are entitled to - women. The fact of the matter is, women are not oppressing men - men are simply losing their status as the oppressors. Men have lost their “property”and this loss has led many to believe that “men” are under attack.

Men and women of a changing world are being brought up by the cultural ideals of older generations. This has led to an interesting effect. Men are raised expecting that, like their fathers, they will be rewarded with women bearing them children and lowering themselves to his patriarchal authority. On the other hand, women are raised to understand that they must be ambitious and competitive, else they will end up in the position their mothers/grandmothers were put into.

Instead of accepting women as equals, men who retain their entitlement fall back on some strategies

  1. “Gaming” the system: TRP, Tate Fanatics etc. fall under this category. Men who desire to develop “alpha” traits through status/manipulation. If men as a whole cannot be special, then surely they can enter a special category of man and retain their privileges to oppress others.
  2. Conservatives: typical right wing idealism, looking back at the “good old days” and attempting to claw their way back through regressive policies/cultural values that awarded men privilege in the last.
  3. Not playing the game. MGTOW, incels, black pill, NEETS etc. - men who have simply given up and fester in their hatred.

Unfortunately for men, these are not sustainable strategies. Whether they want it that way or not, women are now on an equal playing field. The men who can accept this will find partners and raise children. Those who cannot adjust will simply die off. It’s time for men to face reality and accept women as equals, instead of fighting to retain male privilege.
