My guess is that she's more selective than she's letting on. Either she's going for the top 5-10%, she's filtering for some rare quality/qualities, or she's not as attractive as you/she thinks she is.

It’s easy-ish if you aren’t at all picky about looks. But yeah, even with that, I still got ghosted a lot and even stood up. A lot of guys on apps and OLD platforms aren’t serious about meeting anyone. They’ll ask for nudes and whether you send them or not, that’s pretty much the last you will hear from them. I’m fairly unattractive though.

Also is younger an 18-22 year old guy who is perpetually horny who would jump at the chance to have sex with an attractive 35-40 year old. Or is younger that she is 55 and wants to sleep with a guy 30-35. Those 30-35 year old guys can be a lot more discerning and also not want to feel old themselves.

Could she find a guy. Yes. Would it take some work it certainly would.

I don’t know what her issue is - maybe it’s her personality? I’m 46 and definitely not a model, although cute and told I could pass for much younger, but that’s always been a thing with me (looking younger). No it would be easy to find sex (in the right setting, e.g. in a club). BUT it wouldn’t necessarily be easy to find sex with someone who made you feel safe / was attractive / a similar age etc.

Safety in particular is important - one-off sexual encounters can be dangerous so there’s always some kind of vetting going on, even if it’s not done well drunk!

Eh my coworker is currently using the apps. Guys her age absolutely ghost but they also act suspicious and typically ghost after she asks them if they're married. A huge number of people on the apps are looking for affairs but lie about it.

The dudes she has hooked up with are all 7-10 years younger than her and only matched with her because they lied about their age because if they hadn't they would have been filtered out.
