Probably not. I've known a lot of men with significant hostility issues towards women. You always think they're going to mellow out once they get in a relationship; instead, they just channel their issues into their girlfriends.

I think sex is really misunderstood as a drive. Yes, there is a evo-bio urge for procreation; but considering how much non-procreative sex people like to have, it's worth considering other motives. Yes, it feels good, too. But so does masturbation, which doesn't seem to content most people.

When people want "sex," what they really want is a certain set of emotional experiences. The contents of this set vary from person to person, but there's usually some amount of excitement and validation involved. So perhaps what the men you're talking about really need is to feel excitement, which contributes to our human need to feel like life is worth the effort, and to be validated.

i think it's a combination of sex and companionship. lack of both of these leads to frustrations which, over time, leads to anger. In short, unsuccessful men have had these feeling boiling inside them for a lot of time, with no real pressure valve to release them.

could some men be satisfied with just sex (one night stands)? sure, but for the others, simply having sex would probably get boring after some time and would still crave a deeper and longer connection with someone.

Not all male anger but probably some of it for some guys. I'd say maybe 1 in 6 guys feel that way, unless it's a leap year then it's 1 in 4.

Young women tend to be at their highest while young men are at their lowest. Women tend to value physical and mental maturity so young men just aren’t valued while their fellow young women are. Young women get empowered to feel good about themselves and be picky while the young men have their self esteem destroyed. This might be a hot take, but i think we live in an era, where we are heading for societal collapse. I think women had always social and sexual power over men, men had economic power over women and it was kinda balanced out. The economic power men had/have, was very often the hard work/hours men put in, to reach the top, because they inherently knew, that high economic power means a very high success rate, when it comes to the sexual selection by the females. So if men wanted to be successful in reproduction, they had to participate per default in the economic rat race, meanwhile for women it was never tied to it. Women are getting now lifted up everywhere economically with scholarships, quotas, preferential treatment etc. In the USA the ratio for college enrollment was in the 60s/70s roughly 60% male and 40% female, nowadays we overcorrected it massively and it's basically flipped with the tendency even getting worse in the future. We are basically heading for a future, where women have economic, social and sexual power over men and guess what happens? Women are picking from a more and more shrinking small pool of men and the majority of men get left in the dust. Will there be a revolution at some point? Hard to say. Men are getting currently sedated effectively by video games and porn. My estimation is, that most societies in the world will collapse within the next 2 decades. We are not only devided more than ever, we also have a abyssmal low birthrate because of multiple factors, which will spiral out of control in the future. Many goverments are currently throwing a ton of money at the birthrate problem with minimal to no effect. It's like fighting the symptoms instead of fighting the cause of an illness.

Its not towards individual women, just like women dont have anger towards an individual man but women as a class, having different but equal societal and political power have made policies and enacted changes that go beyond equality and push towards being actively hostile. Women have complained about background sexism, things like ads that promote body shaming, shows and tabloids that slut shame, with many more examples.

What you are seeing now is more men who, as opposed to the past where the critique of feminism and other movements were invalid, now have valid reasons to criticize women and womens movements.

Womens movements could have done so much better and accomplished so much more if they had accepted and helped the early mens movements. Instead they denigrated and shamed men trying to address mens issues and bring more nuance to feminist academic theory.

The extreme misandry from women is where the red pill comes from, you cant tell a group youre shit, you dont deserve basic human empathy because you have a penis, and you will not get any help from any other group without that group reacting.

The sex and marriage complaints are not what you actually look at. You never ask a person in trouble how to fix their problems, they cant tell you that. All you can do is hear what their problems are. This is psyc 101. If you want to use such a shallow and usless "solution" as you put expect nothing to change.

Why do men want exactly?

Married men want family law to stop changing, so they aren't forced into terms and conditions that they never agreed to.

Single men want to stop being forced to contribute into (and occasionally defend with their lives) the system that benefits women who hate them.

Men who are currently not dating but would like to, want to stop getting bombarded by thinly-veiled prostitute ads on dating apps.

Men who have children want them to have better lives than those men had themselves.

Men who want to have children and raise them in an intact family, want to stop being told that they should just wife up a tattooed single mom and raise her bastards as their own.
