Let’s be real: the foundation of confidence is appearance.
If you’re tall, broad-shouldered, and have sharp bone structure, the world gives you feedback that reinforces confidence.

People listen more, respect you more, desire you more. You walk through life collecting small confirmations that you matter.

If you’re short, narrow, or soft-featured, every interaction subtly reminds you that you’re lower in the hierarchy.

You get interrupted more, overlooked more, rejected more. Then society has the nerve to tell you to “just be confident.”

When i put 50lbs of muscle on me i was very confident, but i got confident because people respected me more, they were afraid of me

I got more sociable/extrovert because i know whatever i will say people would not try to humiliate me anymore if i am twice their width

When i was 140lbs everyone would laugh and talk shit about me. I grow from introvert to extrovert because you can be extrovert only when you know you are equal/have advantages

Confidence doesn’t grow in a vacuum. It grows from validation and validation is given to those who are already genetically gifted.

Height and bone structure create the conditions for confidence. Without them, you’re basically asked to build a castle on sand.

So when people say “looks don’t matter,” what they really mean is: “They matter for you, but not for me.”
