I made a post that got deleted because the title was said to be a leading question, but I got some good replies. User rosephase said "Having different standards for different situations is normal." which I thought was a good neutral summary of the topic.

Men, can you accept the idea that a partner had different sexual standards for other men in the past? Maybe she slept with other guys on the first date but made you wait.

Women, do you think it's respectful to treat a serious partner different sexually than a casual partner? Would you feel disrespected if a sexual partner didn't want to be seen in public with you or introduce you to his friends when you know he did with past girlfriends?

The context of this was a relationship_advice post made it to the front page a couple of days ago which was the story of a guy whose girlfriend made him take things slow in the beginning and then later he found out she had fucked a random guy from Tinder when they were first dating while she was making him wait. He broke up with her and many of the women responding to the post were of the opinion that she did nothing wrong.

It's not that she cheated since they had not talked exclusivity yet. But in my opinion, the fact that she treated her boyfriend and the hot tinder rando differently is incredibly hurtful and disrespectful.
