I think it exist on both sides for sure but as (25m) I have seen it plently from women who seem to think its funny to simply berate a man as if he somehow is incapable of feeling uncomfortable in his own body too. In one occasion a women even approached a friend just to mock him loudly and make her friends laugh, dude tried off himself not long before becuase of how lonely he had been his whole life and his feelings of worthlessness

As someone who worked a lot with people, I'd say it's an even split.

Men are more likely to get aggressive, women are more likely to get passive aggressive. When they act like brats, men can get this crazy eyes look and start yelling, while women do this high pitch rant and act like karens, so I think that's the reason male entitlement looks worse at the end of the day, it may end up worse.

All in all, I had men physically threaten me and I had women writing complaining e-mails to my boss (which nearly got me fired), because I told them to wear a mask. All people suck, frankly.

Btw, I noticed over the years that women got more aggressive while men got more passive aggressive.

The problem is not necessarily feeling entitled..the problem is that women’s entitlements are elevated and treated like gospel while men’s entitlements are villainized .. anyone with a little bit of ego in their body(99% of humans have an ego no matter how low it is) will feel entitled to something at some point in their lives wether rightfully or wrongfully..it’s just human to think you deserve something ..entitlement is not a bad thing in itself..

Men do not expect that much from women, generally they just want a woman who is fit, feminine, friendly, and loyal. Women OTOH, have ridiculously long laundry lists of requirements for the men they date regardless of what she brings to the table. I think though, some guys do feel more entitled toward women than others, and they get rewarded for it! And this, ironically, is an outcome of feminism, and without knowing what to do about it, we blame it on the deaf guy in the corner.

Historically, the behaviour of many men today would qualify them for a black eye given to them by the woman's father or brother, however today such behaviour is seen as controlling women.

In addition, feminism views it as disempowering for women to admit they made mistakes in choosing who they slept with, even though it is very common for women to feel this way. And the anger about this gets misdirected into arguments about "active consent" and tropes like "bad sex is rape".

But you are correct in that, again, because we can't identify the real problem, the maladaptive solution found is for women to describe men as "LVM" or "Scrotes".

They go on a date with you
They spend money on you
They kiss you
They touch you
They drove you home
They were nice to you
You hung out with them
You're in a relationship, even if you're fighting
They feel entitled use your body for pleasure without giving any pleasure
- And sticking their dick in you without seducing or arousing you

Obviously this isn't all men or anything. But I can't imagine a woman feeling entitled to ride a guy til she cums then hop off and leave his dick throbbing. The equivalent happens to women all the time

That's a very extreme example of male entitlement. When women talk about male entitlement it has more to do with how men behave in committed relationships. Refusing to do housework, claiming that they can't do any chore after working, doing as they please when they're out with their friends yet expecting women to follow a standard of behavior that they won't even adhere to, not contributing financially to a household, expecting her to manage his social calendar, not caring for children, getting jealous of children, nagging for sex even when she's not capable, making final decisions that affect both people in the relationship without input, jealousy, infidelity, rampant wanking, excessive video games or other vices, expecting unconditional motherly love from your adult partner and regardless of your own behavior,... the list goes on.

Basically a lot of you men think that between you and your woman you should always be number one and that's a far more commonplace entitlement. It's the sort of entitlement that a precious child feels when expecting treats from his doting mother.

It’s not within the specific context of getting hurt by a man - because when men get hurt by women, they also say similar things like “she wasn’t shit”. It’s how both genders deal with heartbreak- it’s not about entitlement, it’s about doing anything to uplift the person scorned. People are “entitled” to people who treat them well. If someone actually did something to hurt you, yeah I would say generally you deserve better treatment. Why is it called entitlement when people just want to be treated well?

Besides that specific context, your lack of awareness about the level of entitlement men have is appalling considering how prevalent it is. What you state as "female entitlement" is just high self esteem and the expectation to be treated well in a relationship. If someone is treating you poorly then yes, you do deserve someone better. That doesn't mean you get to dictate who that "someone better" is, and demand that they be with you.

Maybe "not all men" are perpetrators, but just about every single woman I've talked to has a few fucked up stories of things men have done. Personally I've already lost count of mine and I've only been legal for a few years js.

If you'd like more statistical evidence, consider that homicide is the leading cause of death for pregnant women, surpassing every other pregnancy complication by a large margin. If you'd rather you could take a look at fbi crime stats and sort by gender see which sex commits the overwhelming majority of violent crimes.

I've heard women say "not all but too many" and it's interesting how much more focused you are on tone policing women, than actually trying to make the world a safer place for them to live in. Consider re-evaluating your priorities.

There are many instances outside of sex where men are entitled or expected to be able to act certain ways. There are other examples where the same can be said for women, however, those social prescriptions that are implied for women can be immensely more oppressive as a whole. Im not saying men do not experience this, but if you think entitlement goes both ways we wouldn't have such a rape issue.

Deserves and entitled and two different words they mean two different things. When a person is hurt by someone who treats them poorly they don’t deserve that. With the exception of a few really crappy people no one man or woman deserves that. So when someone says to a woman that she is better than “these men” that is referring to men who treat her poorly and she deserves better but don’t we all deserve that? That’s what the word deserves means that you have a natural right to it by virtual of your own worth. A good person deserves a good person. Not anything more. Entitled means you can forcefully take it. It’s a stronger word hence the legal word title. So when we speak of male entitled it’s the idea that women are depriving them of something and they have a right to take it. That being sex or a woman’s body.

I'd also add that everyone deserves a healthy relationship, because I don't think anyone deserves an unhealthy one. The fact that a majority of men are more desperate than a majority of women isn't the fault of women. Sounds like men need to start valuing themselves as much as women do.

The problem is when that belief you deserve something singles out a particular person. No one is obligated to date anyone or fuck anyone they don't want to. It's not something that can be demanded. And if you aren't getting what you think you deserve, either compromise or learn to live without. Based on this sub, it seems like most men have serious trouble with the latter.

I think that men can feel entitled once they're with a woman already, and that this comes out in various jealous, angry behaviors. Women can be this way about a man too if they value him enough, of course.

I haven't met any men who had never been with a woman who felt entitled to one, though. I'm sure that such guys exist, but I think that overall they're pretty rare.
