The whole "destroy your ex's belongings" thing makes me more angry than a lot of other issues. I know it's not the worst thing a woman can do by a longshot, but rarely do I see one as celebrated openly by nearly all women as this.

How many songs have been written about destroying a man's possessions as punishment? And anytime I express this opinion to a woman, it's laughed off and considered perfectly fine.

I remember watching theignoredgender's Misandry in Music video on youtube, and he noted several songs where the singer trashed the man's belongings to "teach him a lesson". I also saw a thread on 2X where the poster searched "ex-boyfriends" and "ex-girlfriends" on google, and posted the results.

This all got me thinking about why people do the things they do when they break up. I've come up with some conclusions.

Breakups are obviously very hard, and when they're angry bitter breakups people tend to want to get some revenge or give him/her what they deserve. But remember: men and women have very different outlooks on life, and different value systems when it comes to selecting a mate or assigning worth to something.

I believe that when a woman destroys a man's property during a breakup, she is destroying NOT what he values the most, but what she thinks he values the most. What she doesn't understand is that she is applying HER value system to his entity, and smashing everything that she found attractive and valuable about the man in the first place... his possessions. By doing so, she makes him less desirable to other women. Seriously, how many times have we heard that you have to have a clean apartment and a nice set of clothes to get anywhere with a woman? Key his car, burn his clothes, trash his apartment, and he will be nothing... in the eyes of women, that is.

As for men, when the poster on 2X searched "ex-girlfriends" she found page after page of private nsfw pictures. This is the man's attempt to destroy not what she values, but what he believes she values. But he's fallen into the same trap as the woman. He has placed his value system onto her entity, and used it to determine what she values. By posting racy naked photos of her, he destroys her dignity, her privacy, her reputation, and her carefully-crafted public image. All the things that the man values about himself above all else.

It all comes down to them having a vagina between their legs. The comment saying "when you can bleed for a week and not die and give birth to babies is when you can have an opinion on women" pretty much shows this. That attitude needs to be fucking sorted out right away.

I think we need to start saying things like "When you get looked at like a rapist for just walking down a street is when you're allowed to have an opinion on men" just to show them how stupid their argument is.
