I took a trip to several relathionship advice subs and one thing that I keep seeing repeatedly is horror stories involving boyfriends who don’t wash, have dirt behind nails, rotten teeth, BO, or are getting severely overweight… one thread that had thousands of upvotes was a woman asking how to talk her boyfriend to start wipping his behind because his hygiene was so poor he was leaving skid marks on the bed sheets. As usual these threads have tons of women sharing a similiar gross experience they had with an ex in the comment section.

It would look like women date nothing but slobs. But I find it hard to believe as to why?

It’s either two scenarios: these men were physically considerably attractive when they met (proportionate faces, tall ) genes so good that made women overlook their abysmal grooming habits.

Or women in question were probably no catch themselves.
