I'm not in the manosphere, but here's how I've always understood them:

PUA - Techniques to pick up women. Limited self improvement. No real references to evolutionary psychology and "bio-truths".

TRP - Extending pick-up techniques to an entire concept of "frame". Heavy emphasis on self-improvement, understanding how women are biologically wired ("female nature"), and becoming what women biologically want ("fake it until you make it").

Black Pill - Women are only really attracted to physical aspects of a man, and even a fit man will be unsuccessful if he is short, ugly, or the wrong race/ethnicity.

MGTOW - Men should live their lives how they want independent of women and should never commit to women in any way. They claim to be Red Pilled and are not opposed to having casual sex if the opportunities present themselves, but they are not in favor of centering their lives on pursuing women like TRP followers often do.

TRP: Humans are animals. Animals have instincts. Men and women aren't equal, both mentally and physically. On a societal level, due to how we're programmed to perceive males vs females, as a man you are expendable, you're a buyer in a seller's market, and the existing system is stacked, if not against your sex, then stacked in favour of women.

PUA: Using TRP knowledge (and various other concepts usually borrowed from psychology), manipulate those instincts and tendencies to project an attractive frame and break down social barriers to get laid, allowing you to achieve sexual success much beyond what you could without those methods.

PUA and TRP have no relationship to each other, except that PUA uses some TRP knowledge. One is "Awareness of truth", the other is "Get laid by any means necessary".

Black pill is TRP, but you've reached the point where not only are we animals, not only is utopia unlikely due to our instinctual behaviour and inherent differences - utopia and any long term society is a pipe dream. Every path ends down either authoritarianism, demographic replacement & cultural suicide, forceful conquest by outside forces, natural disasters (climate change, lack of water, etc.), complete collapse of our financial system or (nuclear) world war 3 and an eradication of resources we cannot recover from. The societal black pill aside, in regards to relationships it's the opinion that based on the inherent differences, a system heavily stacked especially against men and a dating market that caters to the top 5-20% of males, everyone else is doomed to a failure to reproduce, a live in loneliness or servitude to the system (in marriage, child support or wage slavery).

MGTOW is the result of either TRP or BP knowledge, and a conscious decision to rely on yourself first and foremost, to work for yourself first and foremost, and find your own purpose in life - regardless of cultural, familial and societal norms demanding you do otherwise. It has no actual agenda beyond the name. Go Your Own Way. However, many self proclaimed MGTOW do, as one of the first changes in their life, actively turn away from women - entirely as "monks", or in regards to long-term relationships (due to how skewed divorce laws are, and how unlikely you are to find a good, unmarried woman in her 30s - part of TRP/BP )

TRP and BP are simply stages of awareness - with BP having some philosophy sprinkled in.

PUA is a collection of methods to get laid.

MGTOW is a mindset to stop you from killing yourself after you've reached TRP or BP, especially if you're part of the 80% of men that's expendable.

All ideologies may speak to men of all ages (above 16), though PUA tends to lose its luster around middle age, while MGTOW tends to come in later in life, around your late 20s or your 30s (or later, usually after a nasty divorce)

I'm a woman, but here goes:

PUA - interpersonal skills including conversational skills, putting your best self forward, pivoting from one person to another to build up yourself, them, and/or the situation, salesmanship skill etc. as applied in dating. While a lot of PUA have devolved from the higher status it used to be (build yourself up and know social skills to doing whatever works), the skills are sill worth having and work for sales, too.

TRP - understanding human nature, natural relationships, natural hierarchy, the poisons of feminism/modern society, understanding female nature, seeing modern society for what it is, pointing out flaws, discusses men's rights and men's mental health. More of a movement to raise awareness of the problems men face and the problems feminism and modern women exacerbate.

BlackPill - modern Nihilism, especially in regards to dating/relationships/marriage/children and the future regarding those topics.

MGTOW - literally 'men going their own way'. Men choosing to do with their lives what they will and what they want, regardless of societal norms or expectations. Men putting themselves first. Men building a life that makes them happy. Healthy male communities. Also deals with men's rights and men's mental health issues. Because it is a philosophy, you will see men from many backgrounds and men with many different futures ahead of them. (EX: You will see men who have traditional, happy marriages and kids and you will see monk mode guys who focus on building themselves up without the hassle of dating.)

TRP: Descended from PUA, but a little more realistic than the latter. Encourages weight lifting, dressing well, etc. Only problem is, there's only so much a guy can do. All these terms are ideologies that come out of the manosphere. A group of blogs/forums/internet webspaces that men come to collectively talk about gender relations. All the blogs and youtube videos etc produce content for a man watching, saying that most of what that man is going to experience in his day to day life is biologically determined, and because women are valued more biologically , the man reading the blog will get the short end of the stick all other things being equal. This is what the red pill is. Its the idea that womens needs rule what the human species does on a collective level. If womens needs are best met with a patriarchy the society will enforce rules that are patriarchal. I think of TRP as a catch-all term for these ideologies, but probably the most popular part of the Manosphere, which is primarily antifeminist (or at least against the notion that women are unilaterally oppressed by men) and focuses on men’s issues in dating. I think this primarily differs from MRAs because MRAs are more focused on rights and privileges whereas TRP is more dating-centric. The three following are different approaches to the dilemma set forth by TRP: that you as a man are not promised a lover for being a “nice guy” (and therefore, the assumption that this is unfair to men). PUA believe they can game the system with secret knowledge about female psychology, and exploit women’s insecurities into having sex with them. This is a competitive mindset, but one that doesn’t believe looks/merit/genes play a significant factor. Black Pillers focus purely on looks/genes, and believe that it is hopeless for those dealt a bad hand when it comes to these things to even try. While there’s a good deal of misogyny in the Manosphere in general, it’s especially present among these people, primarily as a result of extreme social/sexual rejection. MGTOW don’t necessarily believe that sexual success is all about genes, nor that it’s all about tactics, but that regardless, women aren’t worth the effort. They’ve given up dating, not because they feel they can’t get with a woman, but because they feel like there isn’t enough benefit. This I think is the least dangerous of the three, since, even though there is some resentment/misogyny, it doesn’t call for violence or manipulation.

PUA = gaming women; seems to fall under the umbrella that is trp but doesn’t focus on gender theory or any overarching discussions.

TRP = subscribes to a particular set of ideas on how to navigate relations with women in order to manipulate them to fulfill your imperative. Self improvement with hints of misogyny and frustration.

Black pill = this generations “trp”. Fatalistic. Believes it’s all down to core genetics. Lookists.

Mgtow = male autonomy (self perception); divorced bitter old men and borderline incels(reality)

PUA: 80-90s predecessor of modern dating advice, main approach is to assume mannerisms that are supposedly attractive aka "game", so improved dating through imitation essentially.

TRP: Modern Dating Advice / Philosophy, they still consider "game" important but what's much more important is value, they draw heavily on evo-psych and sexual economics and tell you to actually try'n be that guy (an alpha) that women want rather than just imitating him. Considered misogynistic by many though they would say that they're just saying it as it is ("Watch what she does, not what she says")

BlackPill: Essentially TRP with one big difference: They didn't make it. Essentially they believe the world is as TRP describes and women are (among others) just as superficial as guys. Combine this with the inflated SMV that average women have on Tinder due to hot guys looking for an easy fuck and you get a sexual marketplace that's more unjust than 95% of real life economies, which leads to them (the bottom tier men) being completely without options because their looksmatch is happily married to some average looking guy who was just happy to get some. Big pity party, very irrational people there, although those are just a vocal minority.

MGTOW: Essentially incels in denial. They're like "Dating is shit, marriage is shit, women these days are shit, not worth it to date at all". So they pretend to not care about women and claim they have a great life as a single by choice, yet their social media is 99.8% bitching about feminism and the women in their life.

Red pill: All the Disney love stuff you were fed as a kid is wrong, men and women don't love the same, being a nice guy will not get you the girl, you have to look attractive, have your finances in order, and be a good catch, and even then women won't love you for you the way many men love women for being women. Be the best version you can be, that way even when women leave you or you leave them you can find someone else.

Black pill: If you're not attractive due to genetics, forget about it.

MGTOW: the juice is not worth the squeeze, spending all that time, money, and effort on women isn't nearly as rewarding as society makes you think it is, you're better off spending your time, money, and energy on yourself, improving your own life, and making yourself happy. MGTOW can go from simply not wanting to marry women but still having relationships, to full-on monk mode where you withdraw from society almost entirely and keep interactions with women to an absolute minimum.

PUA vs TRP: PUA is almost entirely about how to get the girl in bed with you. Red pill is more about the mentality and psychology, that love isn't just some feel-good feelings that will happen if you both are nice and like each other enough. Women don't love men the same way men love women, and believing the Disney love thing will get you mixed results at best, and abused and discarded at worst. Red pill is about taking the focus off of her/off of an ideal relationship with her (blue pill) and putting the focus on yourself as a man.

PUA is a groups tied to a philosophy on how to attract and have sex with as many women as wanted. It is still around, but was a precursor to RP philosophy.

TRP is a philosophy around general relationship dynamics, surrounding how to move through the landscape of the current environment.

Black pill individuals are people who see a bleak reality in which case attraction is predetermined at birth, and often come to these realizations through failure to attract anyone.

MGTOW is a lifestyle that is created for the desire to partially or fully separate life from women, understanding of the power that women have to fuck a man's life up.
