The vast majority of redpill content have less than 100,000 members/subscribers. The biggest redpill youtube channel is FreshAndFit which is run by a couple grifters and has 500,000 subs. That sounds a lot until you realize that this is a tiny percent of the US population. Red pill is a highly niche idea and nobody I have ever brought it up to had ever heard of it before. You guys are just in your own little bubble and it just seems like redpill is famous.

I've only been around the manosphere since 2018 and TRP awareness has been exponentiality growing ever since. Alot of men woke up during this year for whatever reason which I can't explain and red pill content is getting posted everywhere on sites like tik tok, facebook, and others.

What I think is going to happen? Probably the same as Japan. Though the biggest change I've seen the last decade is the increasing amount of distrust the genders have towards each other.

Similarly when people talk of the privileges of men in the early 21st century (and the shit they routinely get away with) they are talking of the privileged men, the modern aristocracy so to speak.

I dunno about TRP but a lot more Gen Z men are becoming black-pilled than Millennial men did. See TikTok and YouTube. Stories of "sweetheart men" being taken advantage of by women who weren't actually in love with them are pretty much stopping romantic teen boys dead in their tracks nowadays.

I don't think this will necessarily lead to a larger share of men getting laid but it will contribute to there being less "beta providers" getting married.

TRP is not going to grow because for it to work, you need to have a solid foundation to build upon; height, decent looks, good career, etc. So it's really just self improvement for men who could have been good looking.

Two things will happen:

Millennial men will tangentially hear of TRP and AF/BB and refuse to BB for women. The only men who will do will be the most beta and will get stripped of their assets in divorce court, further RP men.
Black Pill will sweep through Gen Z and they will resort to spending most of their time at home, online in the metaverse.

Either way, we'll hear more cries of "where have all the good men gone?" as more men decide to opt out of LTRs.

I think the consequences of both women’s lib and TRP will contribute to a less monogamous culture, and if you agree with TRP ideology, that mostly means it’ll be a lot harder for ‘beta males’ to get women. It’s still kinda bad for everyone, though. In a more promiscuous society, there will be a lot more women who get used for their bodies and discarded, which in my book is the female equivalent. I think most women at least want a committed relationship—they’re not all just ‘cock-hungry whores’ like TRP wants to say—but because ‘pickup artist’ tactics are probably becoming more common, a lot of women probably settle for getting used (also because it’s hard to tell if somebody’s actually trying to date or just fuck nowadays). It doesn’t look great for men or women, and unfortunately I think female promiscuity and male promiscuity (or TRP/pickup artist tactics) feed into each other to create a dating culture that’s not very kind to anyone. EDIT: Just to be clear, when I say ‘women’s lib’ I’m primarily talking about the sex positivity movement; I’m not in any way saying it’s bad that women are liberated… nor am I saying sex positivity is bad, just that it, like everything, has cultural consequences.

As a younger member of this sub (23) I can attest that RP/BP is getting very popular in the eyes of the zoomers.

I've been rp'd since 2015 and more recently touching into bp content regarding life.

Couple years ago you would've had to change your entire terminology to not out yourself as a rp or bp guy but nowadays even in very normie settings (the gym) I can just talk freely with basically any guy about rp as most of them have heard or actually read about it.

The zoomers are definitely getting their share of rp/bp content, especially lookism related.

Guys finding out about the true nature of most women and educating themselves about it + the lying flat movement which is gaining traction among the younger millennials and zoomers.

Imo not good at all for dating. I myself after several failed relationships have given up dating as a whole and just do hook ups when I really need to feel smth else than my hand.

Many guys similar to my age are of similar thoughts as mine.

Possible unpopular opinion incoming: I think TRP is more critical of men than it is of women. TRP says that women are a certain way. That women are fickle and are hypergamous and only are willing to take a chance on The Best. So here's a road map on being The Best. Yes there absolutely are toxic parts of this community, but I do think that TRP taken in moderation can be extremely helpful to people who want to date and be attractive to women. Women want fit, hygienic, fashionable, financially sound people with good senses of humor and an ability to have fun.

I think this would be a better question when it comes to MGTOW. That will be interesting if that takes off and more and more men subscribe to it.

My hope for TRP was that it would help a bunch of civilization-building men, the ones with valuable skills and intelligence and the desire to form families, be able to land the wife they want instead of ending up as beta-bucks or incels. So many guys could benefit from even a little game and gym-inspired confidence and society would benefit from it. Society doesn't benefit from serial monogamy and hook-up culture, although I know you can't dissuade young people from this, but if younger men who would make good husbands and fathers were able to lock down women earlier and take them off the market that would be a good thing.

I don't think the red pill will change dating in general culture as much as the current dating market will. I don't think you even have to know about the red pill to decide that dating sucks for men, women's standards are too high, marriage sucks for men, and you're better off just playing the field and focusing on yourself. Ultimately between the red pill and modern online dating the remnants of the nuclear family will be destroyed if feminism hasn't already done it. Birth rates will drop drastically and there will be more hostility and suspicion between the genders and a lot of lonely people.

Men and women will be fine, there are plenty of sweet undamaged caring and loving women who are somewhat traditional, dont do makeup, dont slut around and are a pleasure to be around. They dont sit on Tinder, they dont date, they just work, cook and live their own life. If you find a girl like that, you will be happy together. I see girls like that in real life all over the place - in college, at work, among my housemates etc. They are the majority at least in the UK. The problem is - its not easy to find them because as I said, they dont date or use Tinder, so you need to be social and actually get to know people you live with.

Doubtful TRP will have a big effect. Arguably most well-adjusted people meet and date in college, and oftentimes marrying shortly after graduating. It’s those who choose to divorce/breakup and re-enter dating and those who were never able to secure a LTR/marriage who are represented in the dating market. If someone was never able to date successfully, the odds are that person has some deficiencies that resulted in this. Those who date after their late 20s or so might stumble onto TRP (as I did), but if they do, it doesn’t necessarily change much. For me, all that reading about TRP did is affirm my practice of (generally) not settling for someone in a relationship. So all I did was think about a couple of dealbreakers that I don’t violate for anyone. But arguably this is just rational healthy dating behavior.

This was bound to happen now that women make as much as men and have more college grads per year. Red pillers want control, they can’t have it. Any change they’ll make will be indirect but will bring forth more sophisticated conversation.

The rp debate kinda goes Yin and Yang with the gender roles and non-binary conversation, though, cause as soon as that water and oil mixes it’s gonna create some real change in dating, in “why should x approach y”, “should extroversion be a requirement on either side”, women dating down once the high status market is equally populated with women, and others. Once enough high value women are fully separated by class with the low value women I’d expect std-regulated prostitution to be legalized, taxed, and streamlined, which would shut most of the sexist redpillers up and leave more room for discussions about family court imbalances and male suicide rates and abuse on men and such
