In your opinion, what is the biggest predictor that someone will still be a virgin by 30 years old? Let's assume that this person wanted to have a romantic and sexual partner, but was unable to find someone who was willing to go out with them. What are some qualities that someone might have that would increases their chances?

In my opinion, your physical appearance has little to do with whether or not you will be a virgin at 30 years old. Plenty of unattractive people date; you see it all the time whether it's browsing through Facebook, seeing unattractive couples throughout your everyday life, or going to your local Walmart store. Don't get me wrong, looks are important BUT they are not a requirement to have a normal and healthy dating and sex life. Poor looks in itself doesn't make someone foreveralone, rather it's in combination with something else, that makes some people struggle with dating.

No, the biggest risk factor for being a virgin at 30 is having a major social/mental disability which impacts your ability to form relationships with other people. If you think about it, this actually makes sense. In order to even have relationships with other people whether romantically or platonically, you need the ability to communicate and form social bonds with other people. Someone who struggles with communicating and forming relationships is likely going to struggle with dating as well for obvious reasons.

This is also why men with autism, an intellectual disability, or severe social anxiety, are much more likely to be single at older ages compared to unaffected individuals because all of these disabilities affect your ability to communicate and form relationships with other people. However, NOT ALL men in this category will struggle with dating. Plenty of young men with autism have girlfriends, and I'm sure there's plenty of people in the Special Olympics with a relationship partner of their own. This is also why this is merely a risk factor and doesn't gurantee that someone will still be single/a virgin at 30.
