just be you, not all sex matters unless you just want sex and nothing else from that person which then means you’re just using them

And the line from step 1 to 2 is a very hard line. It's easy to have casual conversation and treat them like a normal human being, but it takes a lot to turn the conversation towards the flirtatious direction. Especially if you're someone who doesn't get any female attention, it's not gonna feel like it's something you can do without having to worry about coming across as creepy or weird.
