I have never understood this. A classic example, my ex and I had been together for almost 2 years and then we ended up splitting. Within less than a week of the breakup she was already going out with/sleeping with other guys and 4 months later she was in a relationship with another dude. Meanwhile it took me almost a full two years to get into a new relationship (which I’m happy to report is going MUCH better now) and back when I was on the apps I got barely any matches. I never did Bumble premium because it’s expensive but boy did I consider it. It was probably a solid 9-10 months post-breakup before I even successfully landed a first date. The craziest part about it is I have this one friend who is very above average in the looks department, let’s call him Adam. Adam has the biggest biceps I’ve ever seen, i swear he lives in the gym and dude even got offered D1 Wrestling Scholarships. After him and his ex split due to cheating it was literally the exact same experience, actually he’s still single other than a 3 month situationship that he ended bc he didn’t want to do long distance in the military.

idk what it is but for whatever reason after the breakup, women can pretty much just pick right up where they left off whereas guys have to basically relearn how to date and be attractive again from square one. I’ve never understood it.
