Yes. Exactly this. For a man who struggles to date, there’s a choice between 1) the messy and hard-to-quantify real world of human interaction, and 2) a made-up set of rigid rules and restrictions that reduces love and attraction to something they can put on a spreadsheet that “explains” their failure.

The big punchline is that they have the weird and somewhat sad gall to refer to that bogus framework as “the red pill.” As though they’ve been privileged to see the world as it really is, when in fact they’ve just been handed a janky set of weatherbeaten tropes and jargon that actively prevents them from seeing the truth and learning how to operate in the real world.

But the worst part is that their “logical” and “analytical “ system isn’t just cold comfort for the lonely - it actively dehumanizes everyone. Including the people who believe in it.

It's closer to a mathematical equation than to random chance steeped in just world fallacy, dreamy, quasi-religious romanticism and special snowflakism like our (western) societies like to pretend.

At the end of the day, it is easy to determine which traits, be they physical, mental or miscellaneous, are attractive and it's even simpler to determine which are not. It's basically a matter of probability. Example: not every single woman prefers high earning men who are 6'2 and lean muscular, at least not to the same extent, but the vast majority of women prefer those men over ones who are 5'5, chubby and low income.

Yes you absolutely can. If you want to maximize your chances of finding a woman you must do these 4 things.

1) Looks max. Get in the best shape possible (which doesn't mean steroid body builder btw, that's way too much). Learn how to dress and groom yourself.

2) Career/Money max. An important nuance is that unlike males who select almost entirely on looks female select on money and status as well. In fact a large chunk of men are selected this way as most guys tend to be average looking, but some still end up with attractive females.

3) Geo max. Recognize that the way the world is structured there is significant money/status arbitrage you can pull if you are of Western descent.

4) Maintain acceptable levels of social skills. This is a big one and is often skipped. That is what you are eluding to in your original post. You need some social skills for a very simple reason. Humans evolved in tribes that constantly talked to each other. If you are incapable of doing that you look like a dimwit and that makes you a bad partner choice in the females brain. You don't need GREAT social skills. But they do need to be adequate.

That is the logic. That actually works.

I think red pill men and the lot can't help but make it into basically a game like fantasy football where the analyze the stats and do things only in hopes of getting something

I have dealt with men like this... where every conversation is a tactic and not a genuine bid to bond and form an attachment with each other

Its always "what can I say or do that will get her to stay/choose me" vs "oh, I like her. I wanna get to know her and bond with her and hope she wants the same with me"

And then as the woman it becomes so methodical on their end, it feels like they are going through the motions of a relationship. It ends up feeling like "wow. He doesn't actually like the aspects of the relationship. He is just doing them to keep access to something" and in our heads that access always feels like sex.

Like most of the incel type of men in relationships are often only doing the relationship stuff not cuz they like or value the relationship but because it gives them consistent access to sex. And it feels so demoralizing in terms of love. Because you know they don't love their partners

Men don't really need to align with women's emotion, they need to be aligned with their own emotions, and this should drive their actions, regardless of what women are feeling about it.

As a high functioning autistic man it’s kinda hard. I use to just be a goofball and that got me a lot of attraction that I didn’t know how to capitalize on. Then certain social traumas scared that out of me and I became a husk until I was 25. I relearned that community is the way to go but I haven’t gotten my old self back fully yet. So think it’s the pressure of a ghetto family. The men said no goofball gets the girl (even though I was best at that when I was acting silly) but everything I liked about me was taken from me from so many angles.

I started looking at things by hyper analyzing everything about human behavior. Thought my problem wasn’t understanding them enough. It’s just trauma I’m working on.

My personality was and is lovable I just don’t believe it because of bad experiences. I think while my autism doesn’t hold me back it does come with issues. I know I’m not fully competent when it comes to certain jobs. I have this feeling of “I know I’m not fully focused in my mind. I’m aware there’s some kind of problem and I can’t get it out of me. It’s like being trapped in a brain that is somewhat not working right and it’s scary. I know I’m “off” but I’m also aware that there’s nothing I can do about it.

While I absolutely agree with you that you can't reason your way into a woman's heart, if something is not working, it's natural to ask questions about why something isn't working. You're being too judgemental about these men's reactions. What are they supposed to do... Just accept some vague thing about "emotional intelligence" that gives them no direction whatsoever and barely means anything?

Just saying the words "emotional intelligence" doesn't actually tell a person what to do or how to improve. It's simply turned into a buzzword now.
