I started to think about guys who say "Women have a dozen things they want their boyfriends to be, but men just have one standard for their girlfriend. Just dont be fat!" as if that's anymore reasonable.

Thing is, fat is umbrella term. Is a guy saying he doesn't want a morbidly obese girlfriend? That's reasonable. Is he saying he doesn't a girlfriend whose BMI is higher than it should be? That sounds unrealistic, especially if the guy lives in the USA. The National Center for Health Statistics estimates that, for 2015-2016 in the U.S., 39.8% of adults aged 20 and over were obese (including 7.6% with severe obesity) and that another 31.8% were overweight. That leaves only 28% of Americans of ideal weight and under. Unless the guy is thin himself or has money, it's really stupid to consider "Just no fat chicks!" the superior standard.
