The "sexlessness" issue is often viewed primarily by men through a one sides lens, and that is "isn't it so horrible not having sex and being alone"

This is pretty much the main filter through which their beliefs and feelings and opinions on how this "problem" (its not a problem) should be handled, with all the sympathy going towards those who have yet to be chosen because of the free will of others who desire to not be touched by these people.

But I think the other side of the coin needs to be considered. And that is, the sheer violation of basic human, bodily autonomy and immense discomfort both physically and psychologically, that comes with having sex with somebody you don't want to.

Women who have sex with men who don't arouse them suffer psychological and physical trauma. It's literally painful. But a lot of people do not care, they just think "lower your standards and suck it up"

There's almost no consideration for the simple right to be left alone by these people.

Men who are not chosen are not being oppressed, they are not being forced to do anything and they are not being physically violated in any way. They are simply being asked to leave women who don't want them alone. That's it. How "bad" is it to want to be left alone?

And yet there's actual debates over whether women should be culturally or legally forced to have sex with men they don't want to. Which is morally repugnant.

Nothing overrides a womans freedom to allow who she wants to literally touch her body. Nothing, no matter how sad it makes anybody else.
