I want to start this off by saying two things, 1) I’m not one of those girls who cares all that much about height, Id prefer someone my height or taller but it’s not a major factor for me, 2) I’m not overweight or obese, so I’m not personally affected by weight presences at all. So I’m really looking at this whole thing from an outside perspective.

That out of the way, I’m wondering how is women having a preference for height any different from men having a preference for weight. I completely understand having physical preferences, I mean we all do. I think it’s just damaging when people hold these preferences on such a high pedestal, to the point that they would ignored really good chemistry just because they don’t match what they idealize physically.

Additionally I do think it’s fair to note that weight is something you can change to some extent(although for some people it is much harder). Also I know men too can suffer from someone turning them down purely based on weight. However, I think it’s safe to say women suffer from this far more. Everything consider though, I really don’t see that big of a difference from turning someone away for their height or weight. I’d like to hear some other perspectives though.
