I hate the term "N Count" so much. The N stands for... Number. Number Count. That's so vague it could literally mean anything. And obviously if there's a count there's a number, you might as well just say Count. Or just say "Body Count" like literally every person outside of this sub.

Are there men who don’t like casual sex? I don’t mean that they want to have more of it but there are external barriers, more so they prefer sex to be more ‘meaningful’. Is it delusional for me to want someone like this who doesn’t have a low sex drive?

Edit: also I am non-religious so I wonder what’s the likelihood for men who are also not religious?

The worst ones are like "should I tell my new partner I've cheated on every single one of my exes" and everyone is like nahhhhh. If you're medicated you're a whole new person. It was the illness. It took over your brain and made you cheat.

Bro medication non compliance is... another symptom of your illness. You actually can't reliably make the promise you'll never go off your meds when they have unpleasant side effects either, like massive weight gain and anhedonia.

I also kind of don't think mental health problems are a good justification for cheating. "I was bored. I needed validation." Sounds like the typical justifications normal people have for cheating tbh. You put yourself in the situation to cheat knowing you probably would.

How exactly is one supposed to keep their body count low when dating in modern times is so volatile?

I only started dating at 25. I'm now 29 and have had 4 partners. They were all in dating situations, two of them were in relationships. I don't just have sex with anyone. There were guys I dated who I didn't end up having sex with. I feel like I'm very particular about it and I'm still averaging one partner a year. None of those promising relationships lasted though because, well, it's impossible to force a relationship to work when it's just not working.

I'm just thinking that if I started having sex at 20 instead, I could have had almost 10 partners, which is already getting pretty high.

Is it realistic to judge people for their body count when they started having sex at 16 then? It's hard to say.

My ex lied about being a virgin (she literally just had sex with her ex) because she said that she thought I would think differently of her. Like, bro. I wasn't there. Why the fuck would I care?

I had a girl tell me her body count was 11 and literally winced while she told me. I didn't even ask. The only thing I didn't like about her bodies was that she caught two of them while she was still with her ex. That part didn't sit right.

Someone commented earlier this week that men with very very high body counts is meaningless and it’s silly other men place any value on it. While maybe a very moral high road way of going about that, reality just does not reflect that.

If a man can get hundreds of women to sleep with him and those women aren’t escorts, that man must be inherently valuable. For example my parents are Boomer immigrants from a nation that practices Polygamy to this day… with 1 caveat: The only people who actually get practice it are Kings/Chieftains. Although I lack evidence beyond my own ancestor’s society I suspect that ALL polygamous (NOT polyamorous) societies function in that same way. Now in The Western world Polygamy is illegal, but the human sociology behind it cannot be banned since no gov can actually control the peoples thoughts. So if there is a man who has somehow magically gotten hundreds to thousands of women in his bed he clearly is valued in some way that most other men are not, like the Kings of old.
