Post Edit: I really hate a lot of the terms used in gaming/seduction/PUA etc, but to me inner game is becoming comfortable/grounded/happy with who you are. Ditching all your hangups and just being present in the now. its probably the hardest 'trick' to master, it requires a lot of introspection and breaking life long learned habits in how you speak to yourself internally. I just picked up a couple NLP books to help me consciously change my self-concept. Always be in the process of becoming a better you.

There are a reasonable amount of smart people here, a small amount of great people here, a lot of indecent (shitty and unethical) people here and a lot of stupid people here. The advice is spotty at best, but the most important advice I've learned that even the asshole idiots can agree on is this:

If you're having trouble, you're probably doing it wrong. Get your hygiene, lifestyle, finances, health and ability to communicate in order. If you don't like your results or don't like yourself, there's a reason for that. Work on yourself, constantly. Throw away jargon like "inner game" or "PUA" and concentrate on what you find attractive, including physical beauty, in others and cultivate that in yourself. Also cultivate your relationships (friendships, places you hang out at, people you are around places) to match those things. They aren't ideals. It may be impossible for you to become handsome or beautiful. That doesn't mean you can't grow as a person and grow in all the other ways that status is measured in our societies. It isn't about smokescreens or lines, it's about becoming desirable and at the same time educating yourself how these social interactions work, as well as what you should and shouldn't do with them both in an ethico-strategic and tactical standpoint.

That about sums up the best of it.

The latter part, something I'd like to stress is that this subreddit and others are often a third or more full of nearly sociopathic people who don't care how they effect others, it shows in their communication and refusal to educate themselves and treat other human beings at the very least civilly. For being a douchebag, there is no cure and unfortunately douchebags don't autodarwinize, in fact some might say it's a survival trait as they often screw more women and cause more drama because they don't plan for the future, look at consequences or work at all toward becoming a better person. However, for the most part they're also going to end up at some point being tested by other human beings as to what kind of person they are and fail miserably. It's not about morals or ethics or even common decency, it's about overall what's healthy to you and others. As far as getting laid, some people will be ahead no matter what. As far as seducing for relationships and using it as a tool to master your life, this being a small part of it and attributed that much importance, not everyone will be able to do it and if you're starting on equal footing, the idiots and assholes will most often face failure and ruin themselves after they screw up their social circles. Be a real person. Become a better real person and make real bonds with others while defining who you want to be and who you are with diligently appreciated thought and action. Don't turn away from who you are, at least not more than necessary. Cultivate an environment that's healthy, if you're in an unhealthy environment or have shitty family and friends, move on and make your life better, then if you feel like it, give them a second chance when you're successful. Yes, this is part of it and not a tangent.
