There is a switch around 30 where unattached women get a little more anxious to find their future husband and have those kids before they have to resort to medical intervention. This is most pronounced in coastal cities where the gender balance is already skewed in men’s favor across ages. men I knew who were single in their 30s had no problems dating and the attractive high earning ones could write their own ticket. And yes that’s across races.

What I always observed was that women who’d decided they didn’t want kids or figured they’d adopt if they got too old were like candy to men tired of dating women who, to quote a good friend, expect every relationship that lasts beyond 3 dates to be heading toward marriage. They initially loved being with women without all the pressure but it seemed like it didn’t take long to get tired of them too — like as much as men don’t want to be pressured into commitment when they’re in that situation their ego starts to wonder why isn’t she putting the heat on me?

So tldr I think single women over 30 have it harder for the age old reason of the biological clock.

Thoughts?

Edit: gender neutral narrative. Because I'm a man.
