If I told you theft guaranteed success with finances would you say that makes it very hard not to support and believe in theft? It sounds like it. Any ethical, moral human does not steal despite this fact. Yes, doing wrong things is often way more effective than doing right things. I'm not questioning abusing people on the basis of efficacy (although, I do feel I can make a fairly strong claim that if you have to abuse someone into loving you, then you are not lovable and any love you do get is merely a shadow of the true thing), I'm questioning it on the basis of ethics and morality. The problem with people today is that they use their ears and not their eyes. Your ears can be easily deceived, but your eyes in the vast majority of cases can't.
