Basically every argument for paternity tests applies to a woman taking precautions against abuse/rape/murder by a spouse or partner.

“never knowing for certain” a wife never knows for certain what’s going on in your head.

“peace of mind” a wife should have peace of mind she won’t be murdered.

“I’m investing a lot” someone’s life is more valuable than any resources or efforts you might put into child rearing.

“I don’t want to waste my life on something that isn’t as it appears” dying is literally a waste of someone’s life and I’m guessing she didn’t think you’d kill her when you got married.

“Look at what’s happened to other men, there’s a non-zero chance the baby might not be mine” look what’s happened to other women, there’s a non zero chance a wife is murdered by her husband.

An invalid comparison I often see is “it’s just like asking your partner for an STD test” you ask a new partner/hookup for an STD test, not your spouse as you’re supposed to trust your spouse; if you don’t, why are you marrying them?

if you can’t or don’t trust someone, don’t have kids with them or marry them, and if you trust them but still want the test, understand that it is reasonable to be seen as an accusation of paternity fraud and the woman will rightly take that as a lack of trust when she has put her life and body on the line to nurture and deliver a baby and react accordingly. If you want your wife to trust you enough to live and spend her life with you, you should trust her just the same.

Trust is valuable, trust is based on not knowing but knowing anyway, like faith or religion. If you never open your heart enough to get it broken then you’ll never have it open enough to have the meaningful relationship you actually want.
