I can draw an analogy with communication. Imagine you’re in a group of people like a college class. Not a single person wants to talk to you, but they constantly hang out together . Then, a couple of years later one person from this crowd says he or she would like to hang out with you. You’d most likely say “where have you been all that time? Nope”.

A similar thing happens with men excluded from casual sex and dating.

You say “Would you want the hot girls to sleep around with average men?”. I think you don’t get the situation. In reality, girls, hot or not, sleep around with hot men. Why should I be concerned if she slept around with hot or with average men? Hotness of her partners is irrelevant.

I would rather be surrounded by a mediocre restaurants and affordable grocery stores, than to be in a food desert. I would rather have the opportunity to easily get causal sex from an attractive woman, because there’s a possibility that there’s a woman within those choices that are long term relationship options. The double standard on sexual judgement comes from asymmetry in sexual access. If that asymmetry ceased to exist, so too would the asymmetrical stigma.

Would I want to be in the same position? Of fucking course! It’s great for exploration, discovery, and maturity. I spent most of my dating life a phase or two behind women because they had access to casual sex and got past that phase while I got left behind. Had to catch up by being a serial monogamist rather than just being able to explore in a casual manner that’s more appropriate for exploration and discovery.

I think the dating world would be better for everyone if we encouraged young women to have more realistic sexual standards for their fellow young men. Young men and young women would mature through dating having more mutual understanding and compassion of each other as well as similar experiences leading to more similar views and progression on/through dating.

It's a "test" because men believe that women fit into two categories: "madonna" and "whore". If a woman is the one who sleeps around with him and other men, then she's the whore. If she likes to wait for sex and sleeps exclusively with one man, then she's the madonna.

Men actually hope that some women "fail" the test and are "whores", because then they get casual sex. However, they also want some women to be madonnas, too, so that they have someone whom they can trust to marry and have their children.

Many men would therefore not like it if every woman were a whore. They also would not like it if every woman were a madonna. They are happy about the idea that there is a supply of whores to have sex with. However, when this balance becomes out of kilter and they deem that there are too many whores and not enough madonnas, then most men become upset, especially as the "whores" tend to still be picky about whom they choose to have sex with.

So to answer your question: yes, most men do want there to be women who will have casual sex easily - just not a lot of them. Men who cannot find casual sex easily, or who strongly dislike it for whatever reason, are probably the men who are least likely to want there to be whores, though.

This is a bad faith argument.

The current dating landscape is that women determine who gets to have sex, and men determine who gets in a relationship. You are proposing a hypothetical hot woman who is having sex with average men (doesn't exist) as if the landscape were shifted.

If men were determining who has sex and women determining who gets relationships, then this would obviously change who is a slut and who is a stud.
