My wife and I use the same YouTube account so I'm subbed to her streamers as well; there are videos coming up about the budding female loneliness epidemic.
Plenty of women seem to have been raised with the belief that they are owed something and it seems (in the same sense as loser dudes that want a bang-maid) that many men either don't meet the unreasonable expectations or don't want to put up with it.

Personally I hold the belief that if you're simply dead weight looking for a caretaker there's little reason for a mentally healthy individual to want to be with you.
It's affirming to see it being reflected more commonly in reality and not limited to a single gender.

You would have to make women as horny as men and then remove much of the double standards and stigma of women being open to casual sex. Those are the primary reasons for the imbalance. Experiencing rejection alone won’t give women the same experience as men. It would be like getting rejected on job interviews when you’re unemployed and broke, compared to getting rejected on job interviews when you not only have a job but have a trust fund too. No one likes rejection, but one of the above is still going to take it a lot harder than the other.

The reverse has been done. Men signing up for dating apps as attractive women and being rapidly inundated with 'hello how are you' followed by 'well fuck you too bitch' when they don't reply to the massive volume of low-effort comments fast enough. This is before we get to dick pics.

Honestly, to take this super literally, I think this would be a boring reality show compared to the reverse. "Ah, suddenly it's quiet in here" is not great reality-show fodder. "Oh god, what the fuck am I supposed to do with all these strangers showing me their genitals" is quality drama.

Hetero men and women do have drastically different dating experiences, on apps and irl. The supply and demand thing is real. It's not FUN for anyone involved. Being rejected over and over sucks, and so does being held responsible for the well-being of hordes of dudes who are mad about getting rejected over and over. It's overwhelming.

I will say, dating apps do cater to women having a positive experience over men, because like in broader hetero culture, they are the ones in demand, but it's an artificial environment so they can try to re-balance it. Take note, their solution is often to let the woman be in charge of approaching. (Yet many men are angry when this is suggested as the irl solution.) Another solution often implemented is to only show more in-demand matches to people who are more selective, also something people get upset about as a social dynamic-- and yet, logistically required by the situation.

I was a "height-weight proportionate" white woman in my early 20s. I prefer being fat, I kid you not. I was constantly inundated with men approaching me in contexts that had nothing to do with dating or sex, just trying to live my life and let this dude on the bus down nicely without getting murdered. My experience on the apps paralleled many of the same dynamics.

And yes, as a fat woman, I know what it's like to be the one pursuing and the one rejected, on apps and irl. So do Black women, women who use wheelchairs, trans women, etc. As others have pointed out, comparing attractive women and average men is a telling framing.
