I really have to ask the article writer why this is "good news" for women? We have seen time and time again that these segregationist tactics simply make the concerned parties either more afraid of each other or hate each other more.

In this case, the women are going to be more afraid of men because they know so little about them and are growing up on fear mongering about men generally and the men are going to rightly hate the way they're being treated and get extremely angry.

Everything feminists do to combat the 'oppression' they claim to face only makes everything worse. They are proving that they are completely stupid and inept whenever they try to implement any sort of policy.

These seats are reserved for pregnant women, atleast that's why that started. I think pregnant women and disabled or elderly get seats before other men and women. If you're not pregnant, disabled or elderly and you take a seat away from someone who is and make them stand you're an asshole.

I'm all for equal rights between genders but in places like India you are very likely to be sexuality assaulted if you are a women. Segregation between black and whites does not prevent sin and crime or whatever it is those people were afraid of. However Segregation between genders on a subway or bus will prevent women from being groped and harassed by men. No beleive it or not im not a crazy SJW - its just a fact that women have a much higher chance of being sexuality assaulted on public transit

Well, the bus I used to take (I don't use public transport because I decided to bike) would take hours to pass, and if by any chance there was this "atenea" passing while I was waiting it meant a double-time waiting; then the next one would be full, with no space, and the sits–you've guessed it–filled with women, because on the departure they give preference to women so they can enter first.
