My question to these women would be if it’s lack of interest in sex or lack of interest in unsatisfactory sex but they still want orgasms.

I had to click on this man's bio, I seriously didn't believe he had any level of formal education 😆! I've known plenty of women that were very attractive and still very sexually active with their husband who cheated and/or left for another woman. This "psychologist" article is based on no science. Because libido is based on hormones, and not all hormones in all bodies are doing the same thing. In fact, some women become more interested in sex as they age because their estrogen drops and they are left with testosterone higher than their estrogen levels. Not to mention that men's testosterone levels also drop as they age, which is how they develop weight gain and "moobs" and hair loss. Not only that, men have estrogen in their bodies too, and this also drops as they age, which means that their brain functions run less smoothly.

So the idea that women desire less sex only comes from three things: 1) men's entitlement to it even if they can't get it up, 2) men's refusal to equitable roles in marriage, thus leading a woman to feel like a full-time unpaid maid, cook, nurse, nanny, and counselor (and this is on top of her regular paid job). Anyone with that much to do has no time to fantasize about anything, much less sex. Finally 3) childbirth can be very physically traumatic for women because some doctors treat women like the `'wrapper" and the baby is the "candy". So women are usually genitally mutilated during childbirth.

Want more sex? Be nice to her.

To be honest, the thing I struggle with the most is the concept of sex being placed on a pedestal. We do it a lot. Like, a whole lot. We use it to justify abuse, we use it to define self worth, we use it to define other peoples’ value or lack thereof, and we place it higher than many other virtues. Sex is great and all… but there are a great many things I would choose over sex as things I couldn’t live without.

I think the author here, and many other authors in many other places, should be focusing on what sex represents in the minds of people who place it so high. Power. Desirability. Acceptance. Comfort. Closeness. And why is there a disconnect between partners? What does one want that the other does not? Are the desires behind it even healthy? I think we’re too quick to say “sex is a healthy desire” without talking about the fact that most people want sex FOR A REASON, and the reason may or may not be a healthy one. No reason is good enough to leave your children though.

What a look of absolute disgust on the pastor's face. The advice from this world renowned man of God, was to get a divorce. (not said: don't even try, just get a divorce) God will forgive you if you leave your wife over lack of sex.

In my experience men have lower libidos, even more so when married. And as they age the Ed issues set in especially when coupled with drinking and smoking. Then there’s the testosterone dip that happens with aging. It can be fixed, but more often than not men resist hormone therapy and just gaslight their wives.
