I’m someone who is a very young widow and these kinds of posts irritate me to no end. A lot of my friends were shocked and horrified when I lost my guy, but it got fucking old to hear about how it made them appreciate their LVM boyfriends and husbands more and they thought about little things like this with appreciation because of my situation.
