Man are just as “hypergamous” as woman are. I know I might be playing with the definition, but if you define hypergamy as dating “up.” Man might not concern themselves with social status, but we sure as hell concern ourselves with looks and perceived fertility of a woman which in itself is a status symbol. Lets not kid ourselves, if men had choices, they would absolutely only bang the hottest, most fit, youngest women available leaving all the average looking woman behind. I think there is basic supply and demand issue here. The demand for sex is much higher on guys side and there is infinite supply of men wanting to get their parts wet. So of course women are going to raise their prices “standards.” Men would absolutely do the same thing if the situation was reversed. We just value different things, but our basic nature is the same. So I think its disingenuous to say woman are “naturally” hypergamous. So are men. I don’t know what the solution is, but I just don’t get why the manosphere demonizes woman. We are all want the biggest/best part of the pie, just own it.
