It's obvious if you examine "relationships" under patriarchy, when men have full control over sexual selection they OVERWHELMINGLY choose transactional relationship dynamics. The role of a wife under patriarchy is essentially that of an employee, where a woman provides a very specific set of services (that can be performed by literally any female person interchangeably: cook, clean, sex, birth, raise the kids, wipe your husband's ass, chew his food for him and spit it back in his mouth, etc etc) and in exchange the man compensates her by funding their lifestyle.

That's why modern men are so bitter and hateful towards women imo, and why they're so obsessed with hierarchy, "sexual marketplace value," "looksmatches" and "unrealistic standards." In their minds they should be able to provide x and receive y because women are essentially products that you are entitled to for performing some task and meeting some requirement. No your perceived 8/10 woman does not magically manifest into your life once you become your perceived version of an 8/10 man. Prime example is men thinking they've purchased sex after buying a drink or a dinner, even though that transaction is only self perceived. They also love sugar babies and gold diggers, they just hate they can't afford them. The entire passport bro niche is centered around exploiting geographical/economic advantages to gain access to cheaper transactional relationships. It's all just various forms of prostitution.

I don't know why they act like this specifically with women, if a person has no friends no one will claim "everyone's friendship standards are just too high!!!!" But there's this psychotic level of entitlement towards women. Idk whole thing is bizarre as hell ngl.
