I’m somewhere between 180 and 200 as a 28 year old male. I tend to omit these numbers when telling people because it seems so shocking for some reason. I usually don’t tell partners that and say around 40 so I don’t sound too promiscuous. I’ve never had an STD and only had one pregnancy scare so I’d like to think I was very safe. Either way this number shocks some and turns off others so I say 40.

But I suppose maybe I'd make it higher since I feel like a lot of the guys I've encountered found this number (and the zero before-hand)distressing or struggled with it. I guess, I'd probably make it higher by a few. (Even the current guy who I hope to marry seemed to find it weird early on that I was a virgin).

What would I tell them if given the option to lie? Well there’s no getting around admitting being divorced so I’d probably inflate it; standing out as special is ironically enough easier against a large backdrop of others than next to one or two others so giving too high of an estimate could alleviate any concerns she might have.

N Count and mental health correlate. And they correlate so frequently and so accurately that I'll trust it.

If a woman is gentle, calm, patient, kind, supportive, disciplined and a bit boring (good luck finding all that) she's probably got a low count and even if she didn't I wouldn't care about it, I'd be way to wrapped up and distracted by all that warm comfy goodness.

Of course after the traumas from the former make me skeptical of the latter so then I'd fuck it up somehow.

I mean there is no cut off for me. But I’d start serious asking questions if a dude was around my age (32) and has more than let’s say about 30 partners. To me that means, sex is clearly waaay more important than hit is too me. N count was useless to me- I cared about the context of the sex itself. Specifically, I wanted no history of casual sex (a pass is given for something when a guy was really young) as I really wanted a partner who matched my sexual values.

A guy with a count of 9 who slept with girls he was in a relationship with (or was dating more seriously/saw things going somewhere) is infinitely better than a guy who had 3 ONS or even worse FWB situations (guys who engage in FWBs tend to make not-so-good longer term or life partners)
