I’ll say this…Liberal women tend to advocate and denounce traditionalism and modernism when it fits them:

They’re modern when they want: - same pay as men - equal opportunity employment - sexual promiscuity - not a housemaid/exempt from cooking and cleaning - equal say in household - not obligated as a wife to have sex - husband obligated to fulfill her sexual desires - fat acceptance - husband mustn’t mind close or even sexual relationships between her and other men

They’re traditional when they want: - man pays all the bills - man approaches - man courts - man proposes - man fixes things - man fights and/or dies defending her - man must be stronger - man must be taller - man must be buff - must have status

It’s like.. 1. They aren’t going to find a guy that meets those standards. They’re asking for a Beta-Alpha. Tf?

Even if they did find that guy, most of them don’t qualify for him.
Even if he did exist AND they qualified for him most of them would still divorce him because the modern liberal woman and pseudo-trad-con woman are really just unappreciative, entitled, and narcissistic.

I wouldn't say liberal/left women are the most judgmental and demanding necessarily, but they absolutely have the most potential to be hypocritical when it comes to preaching things like "avoid toxic masculinity" or "let people love who they love" in the abstract, versus acting against their spoken principles to suit themselves in practice. Whether that means managing their own dating lives or policing the dating lives of others.

True but don't discount the geographical factor. Liberal women flock to cities, especially megapolises. These are hyper-competitive environments where looks and money are paramount for your success. Women in those places can afford to be far more selective because standards are better. They;ll never openly admit having those values but their behaviour shows, clear as day, that they do. I see more and more in a major city that men clearly outrank their partners in terms of attractiveness sometimes by a mile. You'll see very good-looking men with good jobs in relationships with women that would be considered 4s.

Bringing ideologies in dating is really, really stupid but if you really want to see who is more judgemental of men conforming to traditionally masculine behaviours just take a look at the left leaning and right leaning women and see:

-who initiates or approaches a guy more if they are interested

-who expects to have every expense paid vs who doesn’t mind splitting a bill

-who doesn’t mind a man taking paternity leave and being involved in the household versus who is generally against them

-who doesn’t mind a man wearing pink and nail polish versus who expects men to dress only a certain way

These are just a few examples off the top of my head. I’m sure the list is way longer.

I don't think men 'leading" a relationship is in anyway masculine. Being able to dominate the smaller, weeker sex doesn't demonstrate strength.

Men who control and abuse women often don't have control in other areas of life. They feel weak so they dominate women to get some sense of control.

Peak masculinity (if you buy into that) is a confident man who is so comfortable in himself that he doesn't need to prove it to others. It's NFG energy.

Physical masculinity has fuck all to do with political views.

The archetype for what liberal "art hoes" like for instance, certainly doesn't fit the classic chad stereotype. And in the other direction, I guarantee a lot of conservative woman if they think of their ideal partner, they see a tall handsome guy in a suit.

I don't agree completely. I think women in general general want men of this list ideologically.

•Successful

•Ambitious

•Broad solders

•Low pitched voice

•High muscle mass low body fat

The difference between liberal and conservative women, is that liberal women will sleep with guys that fit the bill for years then settle with a average dude. Whereas conservative women will wait for such a man and if they don't come early enough settle for the average dude.

So it becomes a question of which lifestyle is more empowering or generally better.

One where a woman becomes promiscous and ends up settling close or even above 30 with the same average dude after probably sleeping with many other higher value men.

• Less fertile

• More likely to get stigmatized and rejected

• More likely to get divorced

• Generally more miserable after tasting high value men and not keeping them

One where a woman is less promiscous and ends up settling earlier before 30 with the same average dude, without having slept with the other higher value men.

I think your point maybe that 'liberal woman' have put those standards up because they know they can sleep with such men easily indeed but retaining such men is another story. Higher value men that fit that bill have much more options. It does them a disservice long-term.

It's a demographic that is disproportionately masculine in its sensibilities and career expectations, so it makes sense that they'd need hyper-Alpha to satisfy their hypergamy.

Actually it's pretty fucking bizarre when you think about it. I'm a liberal and masculine woman who isn't hypergamous. I prefer being the leader, the initiator, the financial provider, the emotional rock, the planner, etc. I take pride in doing these things well and taking these burdens off my lover when we're together. In exchange, he is passive, laid back, a follower, a receiver, soft, nurturing, more emotional, less money, accepting, etc.

What in the 9 hells would I want a hyper masculine man for? Even just thinking about such a relationship is mentally exhausting, we'd be competing all of the time. I doubt he'd be able to see me as a complementary equal the way my current lover does...if anything, a hyper masculine dude would likely think I'm trying to usurp him. And to be fair, I would be to some extent because 2 masculine personalities do not mesh well in a long-term relationship.

Not my experience. Bear in mind I'm not American, so likely your concept of left and right will skew much farther to the right than mine.

I'm centre-left and have (in general) always attracted centre-right to right wing women. The left wing women I know seem to (in general) completely ignore any men who aren't at least as left wing as they are. Usually, they go for guys who are on the extreme end of left wing.

The bottom half of that list could be achieved my most men. Only a small portion of very unfortunate men (poverty going back generations, being born in terrible places on earth etc.) will have genuine reasons why they can't be successful, ambitious, and fit (or "muscly"). So it is ridiculous to criticize women for seeking these in men.

The top three aren't things a man can improve in himself. Still, it's ridiculous to criticize women for seeking some physical attributes they think the particularly like, it's just how mating works in the nature. Now what's not natural is, and what's so broken in many women's judgement is that they (especially liberal women) got brainwashed by TV and (social) media not to consider any man below the top 20% of the population for romantic or sexual relationships. Only 20% of women can be with the top 20% of men if we assume a one-to-one matching. The remaining women should learn to lower (balance, not settle) their standards until they find a fitting mate; nothing but what game theory already says.

Why is this a good (and really, a natural) solution for both sexes? Because, after setting initially higher standards, if the women who were not successful in finding a mate in that circle learned to expand the circle (lower/balance standards), they themselves wouldn't be as angry due to not being able to find "a good partner", as they would really find "a good partner" who's right for them (in their own matching league). And less good, fitting men would be forced to loneliness in their youth.

broad shoulders: don’t care
low pitched voice: better be lower than mine. As long as it doesn’t sound like prepubescent.
successful: everyone wants a successful person. Why would i want someone who is unsuccessful? It’s like saying “men want a woman who is breathing - duh?”. That said, success comes in various ways
ambitious: yeah ofc. Who wants to marry a couch potatoe and be a leech?

The reallity is that liberal women just want to break traditional gender roles for themselves, but still expect men to fullfill their traditional role. They don't want to be housewives, don't want to be mothers, they want to be independent and career centered. Is this wrong? Not at all. The problem comes when they expect men to be traditional. They expect men to pay for everything, to be career oriented, to perform all the traditional "romantic" gestures.

They don't want to fit into traditional feminity (completely ok) but still expect men to do fit into traditional masculinity. It's like defying gender roles is only for them. They will more likely don't get what their want, no traditionally masculine man will accept to be the breadwinner without the woman also putting part of the effort. It's like they expect the man "to be a man" but they don't want to "be a woman".
