To be honest, most men really do not like going out on most dates. They do it just so that they can be with that woman, and because it is what the woman wants to do. This is one reason men are not approaching women anymore. This lack of wanting to go out on a date with a woman goes into the "con" column during our risk-vs-reward decision process.

Men are expected to approach, get the number, plan the date, drive, pay for it, and get her back home safe. Men really do not see much of an upside to this whole process anymore. And this is all assuming that the man did not accidentally step on a metaphorical landmine that he knew nothing about somewhere during this whole process.

So, honest question for the women. Why do you like dates?

If your answer would be, "I'm not that kind of girl. I don't need to be taken out on dates," please refrain from commenting. I have already posted this on your behalf.

I'm not looking for answers like, "I get to get all dolled-up," or, "I get to go out onto the town". What I'm looking for is what in the whole process do you get out of it? Describe feelings. Emotions. What is rewarding about it?
