There are a lot of bad people out there, no one believes that all men are evil and all women are saints unless they are delusional.

On average, women are more vulnerable to men due to physical characteristics. That isn't saying men cant be hurt by women, just that on average it happens to women from men a lot more than the other way around.

I know i as a smaller person am more cautious of someone who is much larger and could do more physical harm to me than someone of a similar size. That is genetically wired in.

I think some of the disconnect is the lack of nuance in the language. I think we can all agree men, on average, pose a larger threat to women than other women do. That being said, it is laughable to imply that women are not at all part of the problem.

Men harm women more than women do but women do harm both men and other women.

My take is that there are some problems caused by some men and some problems caused by some women. The worst examples of humanity always get the most attention. We also mainly focus on the issues harming our own community and only pay attention to the worst, if anything, affecting others. Very few men and Very few women are actually doing anything inherently bad.

That's not really a problem with males like us in our own countries though - with real laws and law enforcement.

I think even the media, women, men and large businesses are pointing the finger at western women as being more problematic than they've ever been in history.

So I'm not sure where you're getting your info from.

I don't know. A lot of men seem perfectly comfortable insisting that they aren't the problem, that women should do more emotional labor to fix men's problems, and that feminism has gone too far. The solutions they advocate almost always involve women giving something up rather than men changing their own behavior. There's a reason so much nostalgia points to 50 years ago—an era that was objectively worse for women's legal rights, economic independence, and social autonomy.

Counterpoint: many women leaders throughout history have themselves started and participated in wars, to say nothing of the simple fact that lions and tigers and bears - oh my! - will still exist. Same with illness and natural disasters. And the mere fact that men are required to propagate the species and we have no alternative universe to determine what downsides could exist without men and especially fathers around at all.

Threats will always exist. And in modern times. Despite Fox News and the vibe, you've never been safer from men than today.

To say these things requires a degree of unwarranted presumption. It also isn't as if power and muscle differences don't exist among women - might they not take over as the physical intimidation crew themselves?

I know some men ask women if they think men are the problem. And if they say yes,

I want these specific women to stay away from men. But since they share an ideology that 61% of women say describes them "very" or "somewhat well", I want all-male spaces, workplaces, hospitals, dining places, and gyms.

Hmm I think a cultural narrative of men as protectors can be problematic but this post treats “men” as a single collective, blurring the distinction between men who commit violence and men who prevent it or never engage in violence.

It ignores that many men protect women in contexts that have nothing to do with male violence (natural disasters, accidents, medical emergencies, fires, etc.)

It can imply collective responsibility—that all men lose the ability to be considered protectors because some men are perpetrators. Many people, including myself, reject that logic

Most men will readily accept that other men are the problem. They can’t accept that they might be a problem (even if they absolutely are) or that they know any men who are a problem (even though statistically they absolutely do).

How many men will end a friendship with another man if they know that their friend mistreats women? Some, but certainly not all.

How many men freely (and unknowingly) associate with men who are predators? Hint: all of them.

How many men instinctively resist knowing? Make excuses for the man? Ignore clear signs because it’s uncomfortable or somehow “not their business”? Hint: most of them.

I guarantee that every man knows at least a few men who are “great guys” who are violent with the women in their lives.

I guarantee that every man knows at least a few men who are “great guys” who have sexually assaulted women.

Heck, I guarantee that every man knows at least one man who’s a “great guy” who has hidden kiddie porn files on his computer or phone.

Correction - Human nature stands in the way of world peace. If men didn’t exist, women would be the ones carrying out the nonsense. This is like racists/caste-believers thinking that removing poor Brown people will get rid of the ghetto.

If you ever worked in an environment with high female ratio (middle management), you’d know that women are some of the most mindlessly ruthless and evil, backstabbing, un-peaceful people around, especially to other women. Currently modern college educated women are all too united in feminist gender war against men.

When your endless anti-male dogwhistling finally pays off and men are aborted/marginalized out of existence, society won’t simply become peaceful Hobbit-town. It’ll operate exactly the same.
