This is kind of a CMV but if I’m being honest there’s not much that someone could do to convince me otherwise. I invite you to try. I think if this sub wants to have productive conversations we need to have a commonly established set of facts that allows to build deeper more complex truths with.

That being said after being on this sub for a while it’s come to my attention that a lot of women really think that men have it easier In dating. Now you can say I’m biased but I honestly believe that this couldn’t be further from the truth. However, this is not to say that women don’t have problems but the problems that men face are significantly more challenging. Women will generally complain about the quality of men they are dating. Like they will say dating is harder for them because even though they have many options they’re usually arrogant and state that all the men that are fawning over them are trash. Which is extremely far from the truth given that there’s a higher likelihood of single individual being trash as apposed to a hundred. They will also often complain about unrealistic beauty standards. Which I get but the issue is that men are faced with the same problems and have to work just as hard to attain the ideal beauty standard for men.

This is just a couple of examples however but most problems women deal with are either highly exaggerated or coming from a place of privilege. The problems they face are usually when they are already dating someone but the problem is that a lot of men struggle to even get that far but when they do they still deal with the same problems. The only is difference is that they are a lot more hesitant to move on from a toxic partner because they might struggle to get someone new. For example guys will hardly ever find girls in theirs dms. Dating apps are simply a sausage fest and the few women on there are simply trying to advertise their only fans. Women will even complain about the way men initiate encounters with them. The number of women against cold approaching is completely absurd. Given how in the right circumstances it’s completely harmless.

In conclusion men have it harder.
