I don't know about you, but the men I work with are for the most part partnered and/or married.

A lot of people around me are partnered/married (and I'm in my early 30s)

Are there people around me who are chronically single? Yes, but it's not the dire crisis that it's being made out to be.

And honestly a lot of those who are, seem to have their own reasons for being chronically single. Like having the social skills of the rock. Or in some cases, knowing that they aren't built for a mainstream relationship and is looking for something that isn't that (I know at least one autistic girly who says she wants a bf who will be exclusive and long term, but no marriage and never moving in with them. Because she can't handle too much of another person in her space and life. If she can't find that, she'll just be single).

Your title is a claim about "mainstream women."

As supporting evidence for the behavior of "mainstream women," you provide NY Post article about a 4-year age range of French women; misquote/lie about the second source entirely (actual quote: "Lifetime group sex, sex parties, taking a sexuality class/workshop, and going to BDSM parties were uncommon (each <8%)"); and I couldn't find an actual quote in either source for your "25-40%" claim, which is too much of a variation anyway to be useful. Taken at the lower end, I'm not sure how much credibility could be given to how "mainstream" that is, if your argument is that these numbers are supposed to prove your thesis.

Further undermining this poorly thought-out premise of a post is the fact that all of your unsourced claims about "PPD women" appear to be nothing more than strawmen.

If you want to talk about the average woman, you shouldn't be using statistics that don't represent the majority of women - not one of the percentages on your post are over 50%.

Of course the women here are a self-selecting group, as are the men - it's a discussion board, not hard statistics. Often we're talking about general trends rather than personal experiences though.

If you tell a random woman on the street about French dating studies, she isn't going to have a clue what you're on about or care anywhere near as much as you. That's why we have discussion boards where you can talk with people who actually share your interest.

no i don’t think any one corner of the internet is representative of either gender, also haven’t seen those specific takes here, if anything i see “men want/seek sex more than women,” “most women don’t go to sex parties,” and “most women don’t like dating apps”

We’re talking about averages and generalizations. Most women haven’t slept with “at least 10 different men” and haven’t had group sex. I don’t think a lot of people claim that women don’t use online dating apps, the point is that people still can meet offline.

8% is safe to say - minority. And then what age group are you talking about. Because i was on sex parties.....most of them for older people.
25-40% is minority. and through apps i think it will be closer to 25...

So…

71% of surveyed French women aged 25-29 have had sex with fewer than 10 men. (France is generally thought of as more sexually open country, so these numbers are a bit more conservative than I’d have guessed.)
92% of women have never been to a sex party or similar event in their entire life. (That’s the vast majority… not sure why you’d even bother citing this stat.)
60-75% of couples still meet in person. (I would not say “no one uses online dating,” but a majority still apparently meet the old fashioned way.)

These stats seem to be making kind of the opposite of the point you’re trying to make? The “norm” is: Fewer than 10 partners (probably lower in the US), no sex parties, met in person. This does not mean that women who fall outside these norms are necessarily rare, but they’re less common.

No, the PPD community (as a whole or in its various demographics) doesn’t accurately represent all people in exactly the way people who volunteer to take surveys at college or online don’t represent all people. Studies that control for variables (like self-selection, age, and other demographic factors) give data that can be generalized to the population at large, though even that has limitations

I am European. This is a data focusing on French women. French people, in general, along with Italians, are a highly sexual population due to being highly progressive. Which the study already says, that most women don't identify as purely heterosexual. The most sex usually happens between non-heterosexual people.

I don't even know why this needs an explanation. Do you know how little is >8% out of US female population? Do you also know that people who are part of BDSM circles don't share info outside of those circles?

Can't open the link, so I don't know many details. Online dating is popular in young adults for hookups or casual dating, and it has more luck for long-term relationships in +30/+40 year olds.
